A unsettled Premiership striker we could and should buy

Gyan is nowhere near good enough for a top 6 team. He's a typical Ghanian (this excluding Essien), half decent technique and work ethic but lacks a brain a lot of the time. Asamoah Gyan is mid table standard, nothing more, nothing less. He struggled at Udinese and was just above average for Sunderland. It's not exactly hard to stand out in that team. Would be a poor buy and 12 million for was very steep, 6 million at best.

Well he made a fool of Lescott in that international, if that's anything to go by. Quality player but can't see him being a City target. He'll probably end up at Spuds.

haha no mate, he got the better of lescott in the international but later that week when we played sunderland, joleon absoloutely dominated the guy gave him no chance.

still a decent player though, rather him than dzeko in our system
 
I'd like to see a bit more of him. When he played against City he just went missing, so it wasn't a good first impression in a live match.

The only other times I've seen him were at the World Cup, when he turned Lescot inside out a couple of months ago, and a few times playing for Sunderland.
