Absent season ticket holders?

I stated earlier in the thread that at the moment I can't make games, and actually find it difficult getting rid of the ticket (I really don't like my seat being empty) - I thought at least one person who can't get a ticket would have PM'd me, but no. Never mind, it'll just have to sit empty.

Not a surprise, but there were a few comments on the MUEN City match report page from Rags, regarding the empty seats.

However, what they forgot to mention were the 1500-2000 City fans in the Fulham end.

The question was regarding the logic of the loyalty points system. It was not meant to criticise or upset anyone and I certainly don't think of myself as a better fan.

It is strange however that these perfectly valid and understandable reasons for non-attendance ever arise for the big games.

The snow would of been a problem yesterday for people i couldn't feel my hands and feet after the game it was so cold

This could have been prevented by either clapping or putting your hands in your pocket.

This tread is bollocks. If a season ticket holder makes the commitment to buy a ST in May and then doesn't turn up thats upto them. If people are having a moan, go buy a ST in May.

It really pisses me off that they have a moan about ST's not turning up without knowing the reasons. I'm in the family stand with my child. I chose not to bring my son on Saturday due to the weather. We are on Level 2 and there are never many empty seat there.

I also do not agree with the comments from those wanting rid of the Family Stand or moving the stand. The Family stand is for people like myself who wants to take their children in a relatively safe environment with like minded people and not have our kids experience the more vocal elements as experienced in other stands. It is also relatively priced for us. Also the Family stand is for the future generations of City supporters

He says so there.

Doesn't bother me whether people turn up or don't... does it bother the club? Well they are still getting paid so.

Many empty seats in areas of east stand are because fans are buying seats, then walking to the corners next to away fans and standing with their mates.
This isn't in huge numbers but many are doing this.
The clubs response was to start checking everyone's cards on the 111/110/109 entrances

The solution is to introduce safe standing and making it an option for friends to stand with each other.
