Absolutely gutted :(

It does seem odd that the vet has not confirmed diagnosis and yet is suggesting putting him to sleep?

But if you owe him one thing it's making sure that he has dignity and quality of life - even though that decision will probably be the hardest you will ever have to make.

So, so tough though - all the best.

So sorry, I know what you are going through it's hard but you need to do what is best for him. Just wondering did they give you anything at the vet to give to him whilst he was fitting like a glucose gel to rub on his gums?

They said it could be a number of things and the only way to be 100% sure would be to open him up and they said because he's overweight too (not that we feed him loads, he's been on a diet for years, he's just always been a big dog) there's a chance he'd die on the table anyway and also he isn't insured and we just couldn't afford the price of an op like that anyway.

We take him to the RSPCA on Eccles New Road, we're taking him back up later to see what they say but it's the likelihood that he'll be getting put to sleep tonight.

Gutted sorry to hear that blue I know it wont be the same but get another and treat it with the same love.

We already have another one, a younger staffy.

He can sense somethings wrong at the minute you can tell.

When you look at that cracking photo you posted of him it's tragic. Try and be strong mate - you will be in the thoughts of a lot of your fellow Bluemooners tonight.
