According to SSN... Tevez wants to go!

I may be wrong but I doubt it. This bastard has been crying crocodile tears about his family for months. It's all his fault, he knows it, but is he man enough to take the hit on salary that would result from a transfer to anyone else? Is he fuck.

And what club in their right mind would take on this mercenary who would engineer his departure in week two if it suited him? I can only hope that the January fiasco was resolved by promising to let him leave in the summer and a deal has been done.

I'm sick of him but I do hope he turns out in one more game so we can give him the send off he deserves.

Just seen this on the news - can't say I am too surprised but if he goes and it looks like he will then I hope he gets a massive fine from City because he has broke his contract with the club, the question is, where do we go now to find someone to replace him, we are certainly going to need a strong strikeforce now we are in Europe. Am really disappointed in Tevez, he knew when he sigmed the contract he would be away from his kids, what has changed?

I think our owners should do something a bit leftfield here and play him at his own game.

Its all about your family yeh Carlos, missing em eh Carlos...fancy the schoolrun and swimming lessons/ballet practice/netball etc etc with your 2 girls..........well we've cracked it....

SURPRISE CARLOS....we've sold you to Boca....as you know we're absolutely rolling in it and the only reason we need a good amount of dough for you is because we need to comply with this FFPR thingy to keep Michel happy......all his other billionaire club owner mates were finding that their dough wasnt doing the business since we pitched up so he made some bolloxy rules up to keep em happy......... anyway we've had a word with him and on humanitarian grounds( that means were being nice to you Carlos and respecting your only grounds for being unhappy) he's agreed to let us sell you for a knockdown fee to Boca which wont fuck up our FFPR plans.....we don't really need the dough so were cool with it...................happy Carlos................Carlos..................Carlos...??????????

Never give a sucker an even break......we don't want to see him go to another European club who we might face do we...if money does one thing for you it gives you options....

The fact that he's leaving us is the main crux of the matter , not the reasons . I was expecting it , I don't know a blue who wasn't , I'm going to look back with fondness not bitter memories .

I used to be proud of our humility and sense of humour as city fans. I think I was sadly mistaken
I know plenty of blues who weren't. I was. I said it before he handed his transfer request in December. I thought it'd be a fairly standard, two years and I'm off Tevez transfer though. Not this debacle.

The feeling is more than mutual.

at the end of the day he wants to leave fullstop, his family imo is a smokescreen, dont forget the falling out with members of the board mancini, then went on to mention things like the crap weather nothing to do in manchester and countless other excuses all brought up to get the sympathy vote and the arm round the shoulder, with city then saying oh fcuk the contract you can go for free poor carlos, all along engineered by cnut kia...

What changed was Tevez cheated on his wife, so she left him and took the kids with her. But he expects City to pay the price for that. It's his own fault. He fucked everything up.

It appears strong emotion makes clear thought difficult. Your logic is self-defeating. For one thing, Tevez' statement clearly says that his request is a result of an attempt to face up to his family responsibilities. For another, the reasons for his request make no practical difference whatsoever to the position of the club in dealing with potential buyers. He wants to go, he submits a formal request; whatever damage he can do to our bargaining position is done, regardless of the reasons behind his desire.
No it isn't. Leaving but not dragging it through the press and making these statements about being unhappy in Manchester etc. might possibly come under that bracket. Not putting in a transfer request half way through the season and having a go at Cook and Marwood might come under that bracket. But he has done those things. Him and Kia have done everything they can to reduce our bargaining position. Tevez could have gone about it in a far better way even if we do accept that he's living up to his responsibilities.

Fella i absolutely agree with you - cant believe that people cant see what this **** has done - its clear clubs cant afford both his wages AND Citys transfer fee - by going public he reduced Citys transfer fee which will be translated into more wages for this twat

He should have kept his fookin gob shut and City could have sold him - there will be a 20 - 25 million pound bid on the table and this utter and total **** will expect the club to swallow it because he want to face upto his responsabilities

Surely the news that Tevez wants to leave can't really surprise anyone ...... you only had to listen to that tv interview he gave in Argentina five or six weeks ago!

If he'd really wanted , in his heart , to stay here , he'd have come out and said so at the seasons end , not left it until now ....... he wouldn't have had anything to think about!

I was only surprised that he didn't keep his mouth shut until we could find an arrangement, either a transfer or otherwise.

To announce it on the day of our first signing was plain old malice aforethought. His timing has been so peculiar that is all but confirms his intention to inflict harm on the club.

To be honest i don't think that Carlos Tevez retains any real , or lasting , affection for either City or United fans ...... his daughters dictate play with him ...... he soon walked out on fans at the Swamp who appeared to think the world of him , and you can only see him doing the same here ...... once he's left England you can't see him giving it a second thought again.
