Milner is more productive

You have to laugh

No actually. You have to cry. You have to literally hold your head in your hands and give up with believing we have fans who are capable of grasping a new era with this club. You have to cry in utter disbelief that there are apparantly fans out there who come to some sort of ridiculous conclusion like this. Milner is more productive than Johnson. Jesus. I mean you couldn't make it up if you tried.

Same old crap but a different player.
He just wants to play that's all, nothing wrong with that.
Wouldn't you want to?

Dissapointed in the young man as MCFC has done so much for him.
Hes a good player and can/ needs to improve, sometimes looks like Messi and others a school boy.
To me this article looks like hes advertising for a move and shown us a degree of disrespect.
His comments on Mancins tactics show this.
Johnson said: "A lot of the players are attacking-minded players and want to attack.

"But I think what has been important to the manager is getting the shape right and working on our defensive shape.

"It has been about not conceding goals first and keeping clean sheets and then maybe nicking one."

Right or wrong these comments are pretty bad with the recent negative press on Mancins tacticts which he is feeding.

He has to go imo

Don't take this the wrong way, Johnny, but anyone who wants Johnson to leave the club has no knowledge of the game. It really is as simple as that.

If you took the 18 managers of the premier league and asked them "Would you want Adam Johnson in your squad" you'd get 18 Yes's.

If you took the entire England squad and asked them "would you like Adam Johnson in your club you'd get 100% Yes.

If you took every football pundit and ex-player in the media and asked them "Are Manchester City better or worse with Adam Johnson in the squad" you'd get 100% Yes.

It isn't a bold, brash, or contraversial statement. It's stating the bleeding obvious.

I know who i'd rather have in my team, and it isn't Johnson

I'd say it would be better to have both in our squad if we are serious about achieving something this year.
i agree. why are people buying into these articles....fucks sake blues have some of you not learned yet that the 'well he can fuck off then the ungrateful little shit' type comments on here are exactly the reaction these twatty journo's are hoping for when they blow these type of quotes out of all proportion, the article states these comments were from after the derby last week so i'm guessing it's a no news day so let's have a 'city player in quit threat' story.....they've obviously exhausted the tevez quitting story having ran it about 4 times from before the world cup....adebayor was last week, ballotelli was yesterday, silva was last month, roque santa cruz a few weeks ago, SWP last week sometime, given has been done......guess it was just johnson's turn. who's quittin next week then according to the sun? my guess is yaya although i'm sure they've already done him come to think of it with his back to barca stories from the day after he signed!!!

i dont think he has said anything wrong. he is dying to play for us.

our fucking manager dropped him when he was absolutely flying and then brings him on in drips and drabs off the bench. any player knows coming of the bench is not easy.

yeh he didnt play well saturday but you can say that about alot of them. i bet its adam that is on the bench again though. if we do lose him i will be fucking pissed off.

What it does on here, is open's up the debate and reveals those thick pillocks who don't rate Johnson as a player - the types who believe Milner has been our best player. It really does bring these dunne loving, pearce worshiping, numpties out of the closet

I also noticed the subtext of those comments.

Yet another little window into the player's feelings.

But we won't go down that road...let's leave this comedy thread as it is. Nice little moronometer for the Bluemoon regulars.

It's Johnson who allegedly is saying he wants to leave isn't it? I'm with your un-named 19th Premiership manager - if he's not happy and he doesn't think he can play his way into the team on merit - he should follow the can of worms he and his agent have opened and find another club. That's bleedin' obvious - you should know you've got a degree in it haven't you?

He doesn't say that he wants to leave. He says that he cannot carry on playing indefinitely without regular first team football, which is true of every player who has designs on being an England regular.

Of course he could come out and say that he's happy stealing a wage by playing the odd UEFA Cup game like the rest of the squad players we've got and I bet you'd be all up for that.

Well I know which kind of player I prefer in my squad.
