New evidence come to light apparently, he is appealing the sentence to clear his name. We will see if that happens.

Sometimes our legal system is messed up with the inconsistency of prison sentencing, look at Stuart Hall... What was his original sentencing? Something like 3-4 years and what he did was a lot worse than Adam Johnson, fair enough the Judge said he wanted to make an "example" out of Johnson but why not make an example out of all paedophiles? You just don't start with someone you choose.

What Adam Johnson did was wrong and he deserves to be in prison just on the basis of asking her age googling the consensual age and then still going along with it, he's an idiot that could have hurt this young girl but at 15 I reckon she knew what she was doing we all knew what we were doing at 15 years of age but at the same time her mind was probably caught up in the idea of meeting up with one of her celebrity idols.

He got what he deserved but I could have done without knowing about the animal porn and him visiting legal porn websites, but at the same time the judge trying to make an "example" out of Johnson when so many others who have committed the same heinous crime's with girls at a much younger age including actual sexual activity it just feels like our judgement system aren't even trying their best!

the sentence isn't supposed to make an example its supposed to be fair and correct. Any judge who uses this ethos when sentencing should be removed the role with immediate effect.

Yeah something like that, this is what I mean it's just inconsistent to hell, should be a straight up 15 year sentence for anyone involving themselves with children below the age of consent.
