Adam Johnson: Joining Manchester City is bad for your career

Damn right Yaya is going to play more than you.... how does he not understand the reasoning for that?

Whatever, I still like AJ that just kind of baffles me

Great post n_mcfc- intelligent! AJ shows a lack of ambition -easier to be a big fish in a small pond , but at the same time his comments about RM are interesting. Watching on weds night it was interesting to see the warmth & communication between Klopp & his players and what appeared to be a strong desire to give everything to the cause.sometimes an arm around the shoulder can be as effective as the hair dryer if you understand the needs of individual players

"I probably wouldn’t celebrate. Out of respect to the fans."

"Part of me would like to in front of certain parts though."

Looks like we could have a Tevez/Fergie situation tomorrow if Johnson scores. Keep him quiet for 30 minutes and he'll run out of stamina anyway, the arrogant knob.

Decent player scored quite a few good goals for us for whatever reason couldn't get much game time he's moved on so have we.

Mancini goes with something similiar to the "arms around the shoulder" approach only with young players who he is personally interested in ( basically those he feels can make it really big ). Currently, it is Balotelli and to a certain extent Nastasic ( although he seems to be giving up on Balotelli recently). For others, he expects them to knuckle down and do the job.

“Now, if I was a young lad, I wouldn’t go to City,” he said.

"If I look back to two and a half years ago, when I signed, I would do the same again. I would still have the medals"

I'm sure someone already noticed that he said two different opinions about same thing in one interview, lol.

First he wouldn't go to City as young player than even if not playing it's good to be young player there as you learn a lot from big players.

STFU Adam

lol, yes

I take it he didn't feel it was a bad career move when he doubled his wages by signing a new five year contract with us mid-way through last season?
