adam johnson (merged)

Johnson is under the same development rules as Studge was at City.

Boro were given a fillip when the tribunal made its assessment of Sturridge.

The fact that City want to seal a deal now is more about stopping other teams getting a cheap deal as City getting the player IMO

Is this true about the Boro shit heads changing their attitude to this.

They wont let us speak to him apparently.

Not the best source, but its something.

What a bunch of utter morons, he can leave for almost nothing in the summer.

City should just bid 8m and get him now.

cum on city get this kid before the red twats try and line him up as giggs understudy

We should forget trying to sign anyone playing for an ex-rag manager. Johnson will go to Bruce or Baconface, wait and see. Our time should have been spent elsewhere.

I thought, if a player was out of contract in the summer, he could talk to who he wanted in January ? Why does he need permission is it down to his age ?

Think it might be february, not sure, but its obvious were angling at getting him in now because weiss and robbie have gone and more teams will be able to pay the development fee (hopefully not the rags or bin-dippers though)!

anyway would be a good buy providing he gets the playing time, theres more to come from him. better than downing imo.
