He gave the ball away less than Silva, had the second most shots, was the 4th best passer, was the second best passer in the attacking 3rd, created 2 goal scoring chances for others and was the third highest dribbler

I'm not saying he is shit, just that he doesn't seem to be performing like he was. Stats may tell me different.
Maybe it is because of the way Silva, Dzeko, Nasri and Aguero are playing. To be fair, at the moment they could make any player look shit!

If you are in a class of straight A students and you get a B+ dosnt mean you are shit.
He's good to add something different to the team, but when he plays the full 90 he doesn't fit in our system whatsoever. He tried doing what nasri and silva do a few time by coming inside to try and just get involved with the one touch but that isn't him. He's good at bombing it down the line and taking players on, which tbh I didn't see any of today, looked completely unconfident and didn't attempt to take on a poor wigan left back once.

Thing is mate, i don't see any trickery these days, he has become a wee bit predictable for want of a better word. When he starts he is up against fully mobile full backs and so his style of playing is less effective.

He beat his man 3/3, only Augero and Silva did more dribbles.
My opinion is he had a good game, not as good as some but if he would have scored then people would be wanking now

I thought he looked a bit rusty today Should have had better shots, but basically he is a classy player and a really important City player.

Can he up his game to the next level? I sincerely hope so.
Look at Richards 18 month ago, some people on here wanted him out. Superb again today. Hopefully the same will come from AJ.
