johnson isnt good enough for us pal, he hasnt imrpooved since hes been here, sinclair or another replacement is needed. Johnson is off mate, live with it.

That's not my point, I like Johnson he can stay for me, but if he wants to play he has to go. If he goes he will be replaced

Ps I'm not your pal
Its my point though, pal, at the end of the day johnson isnt good enough and we need a replacment, we also need cover at centre back, if you dont understand that a football club needs to strengthen every year and not stand still you will be in for a big shock this season.

I understand football very well. You continue to flap, I am content in the knowledge that we will challenge for the league again this season, irrespective if we sign anybody or not. Mate

So am I, but it's not just the PL we'll be fighting to win. Mancini said we have 19 players... surely that's on the light side. Mate. :)

Im a realist not a flapper mate, you continue to live in your own world where non of our important players get injured for a considerable amount of time. Its not my fault that you do not understand that for a football club to move onto bigger things and to keep up their good work in their own domestic league that you cannot stand still. Im not denying IF all of our key players stay fit we will have a good chance of winning the league, but if the likes of kompany get injured we have not got adequate back up, also our squad isnt good enough to challenge for the champions league (yes chelsea won it but look where they finished in the league), Mate.

Where have I suggested that we will not sign anybody. As I said, you continue to flap. I have every faith in the club and will continue to support their judgement if the correct players become available and the club feel they are value for money they will be bought mate

Great if true!

goal.com reporting that he's going for a medical at Sunderland. Also, the fee is now (supposedly 10m + 5m in clauses, which is a bit better.

Make of this what you will. No idea if it's true.

Can you also not read two posts above?

15m is a very good price for Johnson.

It's a shame that he has never fulfilled his potential with us, but his attitude is partly to blame for that.

Think he will do well for Sunderland but if we can pick up Sinclair for 5m then it is good business foall concerned.

Would balance the books this window and leave us money to use on the final week.

When I started writing, that post didn't exist. Phone typing + having to hide phone as we're not supposed to have them on in the office = I'm slow at posting, sorry...

If this is true, 15m for a winger who doesn't do what a winger is supposed to is outstanding business by City.

Selling him to a team who aren't a 'rival' is even better.

Get Sinclair for 5m and put 10m in the kitty.

If it's £10million + £5million addons (£15million deal) then that is good business for us, £10million alone sounds much too low for an England international.
