Our main problem is leaking goals, meaning the defense and defensive midfield spots are a priority for me.

We have the world best finisher and in a lot of games he hardly gets a sniff.

Haaland is 2nd in big chances missed and 2nd in goals scored only behind Salah due to penalties.

So that tells me he gets chances and scores goals, but he himself could also do better in converting chances or placing himself in a better position if he wants more.

He also is slowly upping his overall game because its not quite enough for him to just stand in the penalty box for 90 mins, and to involce himself a little more.

I like the talent we have to support Haaland in Doku, Savinho, Foden, Bobb, Marmoush, and I expect them to be even better next season, everyone is off form this season.

But the "priority" as I said, is the colossal problems with the back 6.

Teams are defending in huge numbers against us, because they know that when we overcommit they can then break and get as us pretty successfully.

Maybe if we shore things up and take away that hope, the opposition will have to open up a little and try and get at us, making it easier for us to find spaces.

I reckon we’ll go for him. No real need for Kovacic in the squad if he comes in. HG, can play further up if needed. A real eye for the pass aswell - we need more chance creators in the side.

Watched one of his interviews- he’s got a real love for the game doesn’t really care for the lifestyle that comes with. Same sort of thing that we’ve seen with Khusanov (Rodri too) they love the game and what they do not so much for the lifestyle.

Well they should have shitloads of assists then. But the whole thing about Haaland is that the threat of him opens up so much space for others to score. Foden scored 27 goals last season ffs. That's an insane return. But this season like everyone else, he's massively underperformed.

Not really. There are exceptions. Bellingham, Yamal, Musiala, Wirtz etc. All show consistency far beyond their tender ages.
