ah yes. now i remember.Kevs shot caught him but he came back on and then went to the hospital apparently
Haha loved that para 2Donnarumma is as good as our current backup with his feet. And far more dominant everywhere else
I think Pep will be okay With Donna. His problem with Joe Hart was that Joe wasn't willing to adapt and try.
Donnarmma plays out of the back. Even if he is not Eddy's level.
If would, but if he's as good as everyone claims, it'd be a key position tied up with a homegrown player for the next 10 years. The fee for this guy would be SCARY.
Honestly, players joining lower league teams like United are gonna need release clauses if they want a hope of leaving.

Watching that PSG midfield trio and it has me thinking I'd really prefer if we got Wharton.

Really good defensively, but also his progressive passing and creativity is so good as well, he is a perfect 6/8 hybrid for Pep's systems.
English quota and all that, if we paying 80m for MGW, then Wharton is the better buy imo and I think Palace would budge at that fee.
Damn...Add 30m to that 80 that's what they'll be asking
Gibbs-white etc, tell wharton to hang fire we'll be back. :)Damn...
Hopefully we can negotiate for a better price :(
Maybe next year then when his contract slowly runs down, he may not be needed immediately if Kova stays.
Wharton isn’t the better buy alone for the fact that we have Gonzalez. MGW makes more sense. If we didn’t go for Nico we could’ve gone for 2 CM homegrown nowWatching that PSG midfield trio and it has me thinking I'd really prefer if we got Wharton.

Think City have some excellent youngsters coming through (also some current squad players e.g. Savinho) that Palace could develop.Splash a money on this guy please

As if PSG would sell us Donnarumma mate ffs.
I like him a lot but was very surprised how loose with possession he was on Sunday. Pretty sure he's normally a lot better. Having said that McCoist and Fletcher were full of praise for his performance, though that may say more about their judgement than ours!I was at the game on Sunday, it was misplaced pass after misplaced pass .. then he comes up with a brilliant ball for the equaliser. That's sort of where his game is at the moment, capable of brilliance, but quite frustrating to watch over 90 minutes. Absolutely the talent is there though, and I'm sure a season under Glasner he'll become far more consistent and will end up at one of the top top clubs.
I fucking hope so.They might actually now....
