Additional time

Nope - as others have already posted, several games are having significant additional time added on. I was at Altrincham yesterday. It was 45+8 first half and 45+9 second half. No significant injuries or stoppages. Game kicked off at 3.00 and finished dead on 5.15.
Looking at other games today I think you're probably right.
Just don't know where 8 mins came from and although in general I agree with correct amount of added time this seems to be somewhat arbitrary in its implementation.
We'll see how it pans out

I don't see it making any difference, if anything I think it is a better situation for us as we generally pass teams to death and they are usually fucked.
Except for the unlucky deflections like today. We were comfortable overall!

If a team makes five subs all at once is that just a minute added or a minute each sub? No one has explained it..

No problem with the added time,my only concern is will it be done evenly for all matches and teams,if we happen to be behind in games or drawing heading to added time you can bet very little will be added but if we are winning and by a tight scoreline 1-0/2-1 you can bet it will be double the normal added time ..I didn’t have a problem with the 8 mins today though..
It will give the officials more wiggle room to have an impact on how games pan out imo.

Roughly speaking - Odegaard was down for 2-3 mins, there was roughly 3-4 mins for several sets of substitutions, the goal celebration is now always added according to refs which was another 1-2 min, plus a few other short delays like Saka getting trod on and rolling over fifty times.

I was noting these things through the game and I totted it up in my head to 9 minutes, so was honestly pleasantly surprised when it was only 8.

Edit: you can actually see in my post history I said there'd be 8-10 minutes of injury time 5 minutes before the board went up.

It would seem that if any particular team wants to abuse it they pretty much can if there's the remotest chance of them getting something out of a game.

If we are only winning by one goal we will be fucked over, it will be just play until they score, 10 minutes extra easily
Tbh there was an injury in added time today and it added 3 and half minutes on and they score within the allotted time added on.

Bit bizarre having 8 minutes, there weren’t any real lengthy delays all match until we actually got into added time (Walker and Partey). I’d expect 8 or so minutes to be quite standard going forward based on today. Normally that would’ve been 3-4 minutes.
