Yep - this adopt a thick skin, just laugh at them etc approaches, are all well and good - but it's damaging and deflating.This is what I was talking about on the FPP thread a few days ago. City need to subtly encourage certain high profile people out there to challenge the torrent of lies currently poured on MCFC.
Maybe we're waiting for our day when exonerated.....but in the meantime we're the free hit.

it's affecting our recruitment of young fans. We are the cheating club who can't fill their stadium and don't make any noise. That's it now. Luckily we win everything and are likeable, which helps, but we need to be setting a narrative, even a siege narrative, in the way that Durham portrays.

You'd think he would be in a more senior position, perhaps advising his superiors to try treating their listeners as adults rather than winding them up.First and foremost, Adrian Durham is a fan of football who loves the game without bias and tribalism.
One of the few in the media who is knowledgeable and passionate about football. He actually gets around grounds to watch games at all levels. His factual reporting on Talksport won me over. I recall him attending as many games as physically possible at the World Cup, rather than just the obligatory contractual ones, as a mark of his enthusiasm.
I think he does/did matchday round ups for TS so has to know his onions? It says a lot that he put his head above the parapet to specifically call out rag and dipper supporters for trying to perpetuate the myths and vendetta against City. Clear and organised and not in the interest of the game.
Meanwhile, back at the bolshie corporation, the first twittering of 'most neutrals want Liverpool to win the league' are starting up again. I think they took the poll at Ryan Airways check in desk at Dublin airport.

Called out rags and dippers fans for "weird" ganging up on us. Called out constant shite about the ground not selling out as bollocks with pictures being taken before kick out to create "and obvious false narrative"
And finally, the money shot (pardon the pun) he called out the premier league, rival clubs and third parties for constantly trying to grind city down, demote the club and steal trophies back. He's not surprised we're fed up and so is he!

This is how stupid and obsessed Liverpudlians are ,a bloke called Giles Coren who is a food critic amongst other things ,did a review of a German Doner Kebab franchise with about130 branches in the UK ,the one he reviewed was in London and he gave it a pretty shitty review as it was "The worst meal "he'd ever had ,so over the next few days he starts getting shite on social media platforms from Liverpudlians over the review and eventually finds out that the scousers are upset because they have branches of the same franchise which are popular with them therefore they are offended (once again) by someone running down a restaurant franchise in London because they like their diner kebabs from the liverpool franchise ,Work that out if you can ? What a weird city, populated by self-opinionated, offended by everything clowns who are hypocrites of the highest order .
