llorente has demanded a transfer and refused to sign a new contract...

i know who id be looking at in this situation...

Yeah you can say ade is proven in the prem, but £170k wages. His transfer fee, wages and signing fee will still allow them to shop for someone with a better attitude.

Even with his reduced fee he is an expensive option for spurs
 
Have Spurs made any serious attempts to sign a replacement for Adebayor? Seems like they're backing themselves into a corner.

I remember reading on here that there was a massive bust up between them after we lost to Wolves away from home in October 2010, it's been all down hill for Adebayor at City since then.

I remember reading on here that there was a massive bust up between them after we lost to Wolves away from home in October 2010, it's been all down hill for Adebayor at City since then.

That's about it. Mancini went ballistic about Ade always being offside and not doing as he's told.

For anyone who is interested City are not budging an inch according to my Spurs ITK at work. Apparently, the best we will do is a season loan with a guaranteed Spurs purchase at an increased price (around £8m) at the end of the season.

Brinkmanship we obviously believe Spurs need for a striker is greater than our need to sell. (Hope we are correct) If not we lose 2.5m if we are right Spurs go into the season with only one recognised striker and could blow CL footie next season on the back of it as well as 30m.
 
Can see us being stuck with this cnut when the windows shuts,which if is the case he should be brought out at half-time at home games,and the lucky fans (winning tickets)brought on to give the fcuker a boot up the arse,im sure come january he would then be more receptive to moving....

And his footballing career (or what is left of it) will be well and truly over.

It worked with Bridge he finally got the message had no club by the end of last summers window, he went on loan at Christmas, first out the door this summer. Maybe Ade needs to spend an autumn and christmas without footie to realise how much he misses it. Just a thought.

Thats right goat adebayor had a bust up with kompany on the pitch at wolves.And that was the final straw 4 mancini who wants rid of him
 
I know he has a contract and all that, and I know he may have got a bit of a rough deal from Mancini who would rarely play him.

But at the end of the day, what Adebayor is doing is immoral and also pretty stupid. We have made it plain we don't want him and offered him a pretty decent way out. If he's too spiteful to take it, we should be spiteful back. I'd have him in Carrington every day without fail, playing no football and no training, just made to sit around for hours on end. And fine him if he's late or doesn't turn up. He'd soon see sense.
