Dream on, Bale will never leave Spurs for a PL team.

Falcao and AVB are best friends and according to a couple of Porto fans, They are in a civil partnership.

LoL... Where did this one crawl from? Stick around Dave, You're good for the LOLZ, You can be the New BlueMoon pet :)

You don't really understand this whole transfers thing do you? Ok firstly do you know just how highly rated Falcao is in world football? If there was even a hint of a chance that Atletico Madrid would consider selling their superstar striker that they paid £37M for just last summer, i guarantee every top club (and i mean TOP club, NOT Spurs) would be all over it.

Secondly, do you believe Falcoa would opt for Spurs over ALL the other clubs he could join without even CL football to offer, let alone any real chance of winning the domestic title except for in your over active imaginations?... Hmmm, is it statring to come together yet?

Thirdly, You cannot even afford to pay Ade the wages he wants. I guarantee the only way you could tempt Falcao to join a club with No CL football is with a HUGE financial package which we all know Levy the tight arsed Penny Pincher is never going to offer.

Dave didn't say he wouldn't leave Spurs, said he wouldn't leave to another prem team.

Which astoundingly I think he has that right to be fair

And why on earth would you think that? It's something i always read on football forums and it's just bull shit. "Our star player would never leave for another Premier League club, He wouldn't do that to us". Yes he would actualy, For the right deal at the right time, any of them at any club would, Bale is no different. He will have no more love for Spurs than his mates are there and they are his current employer.

If City had a succession of finishes outside the top 4 and Chelsea came sniffing around Silva, Aguero etc then there's a chance they would leave. It's just something the gullible tell themselves to make them feel better about a situation. Believe me, it can happen. And if Bale keeps showing the same standard of football but never the less Spurs continue to win nothing, he'll be off to the highest bidder. English Teams included!

This.

'They're in a civil partnership'.. And you still didn't realise he's only taking the piss? Most of his posts in here are.

In the modern world of the Internet football forum, you see much stupider shite than what he wrote by people who totaly believe it. I take nothing for granted these days.

Just don't see Levy sanctioning a deal for one of our best players that would strengthen a rival unless it was an absurd amount of money, like ridiculous money.

However Bale has said in the past that the challenge of playing in a different country, different league, different culture does interest him, which is understandable so if an opportunity comes up and the team are prepared to pay what he is worth then he'll be able to leave the club. Won't hold it against him if it happens.

I don't consider Spurs a genuine title rival. If Levy does then i congratulate him on his ambition for your club, But realisticly i don't see it. Not over the course of an entire season. Like i say, It would take a few seasons of none CL qualification which looking at the teams you are competing with for a top 4 finish is not too hard to imagine, Then Bale would get Itchy feet, City, United, Chelsea etc would look very tasty indeed, And Levy might then admit his ambition is perhaps a bit far fetched. He would prefer to sell abroad if it came to it. But if the only offers came from England and the deal was big enough, coupled with preassure from the player. He would be off mate.

You got my hopes up, when I saw that this thread had been bumped.

Re: Adebayor

Damiao deal is about to be done according to various well connected sources.

I think Spurs only need 1 more striker as AVB will play 4-3-3 so it's upto AVB to decide between Falcao or Adebayor.

Ah yeah like Modric right?

Nah. Essentially the only way you'd be getting Bale is if you paid for our new stadium outright. So many times you see on here that if you gave us AJ, RSC and 8 million that'd probably do. Bale's with us until 2016 now, he obviously sees a good future at the club, and also has seen the way mean old mr Levy kept Modric here last season yet he still signed an extension, what does that tell you?

You can keep him, he will probably tail off soon as he got it into his head he is a playmaker or floating forward like ronaldo, his effectivenss on the wing will go downhill and he will ultimately stall. AVB could be off he soon if he is in anyway successful, he has got bigger plans than spuds, and Bale is becoming too big for his boots, he will be problem child if he sticks around or will sod off elsewhere when he realises that Spuds are perennial nearly men,

Re: Adebayor

is what they say true that deal hasnt gone through because ade wants the transfer fee to go straight to him and leave on a free transfer. lol no player has a right to ask for that so if it is true i hope we keep him and rot him in the elite so he gets no limelite what so ever

Not like Modric. Like Berbatov.

Secondly, I genuinely do not think Bale would get into our starting XI. Not that he isn't a good player, he's a very good player, but we just aren't a side would play 'give it to the wide man and let him run as fast as possible' like you do with Bale & Lennon. He doesn't have the quick inter-passing of Tevez, Aguero, Silva or Nasri (our current 1st choice from 4).
