Doubt anything will happen this week. He has a deal with Spurs, they try to get as much money out of City as they can. In the last day if he sees that City wont give him the transfer fee he might instantly lower the salary he wants and join Spurs. Spurs knows this for sure.
But if City gives him the tranfer fee it is even better for him. Spurs gets his man anyway.

He will get his signature bonus from Spurs anyway but smaller wages than here. If he signs there on 1st of August that is 4 weeks with smaller wages. Money talks.

We offered him that money and he still would get for next two years. We cant blame only Adebayor. Offering these crazy wages to players who had one good season before coming here is a joke.

Good Riddance!! I'll now be hoping that he'll be back to his usual self being a lazy sod after a few games at Spurs..
We could have conducted our transfers better if he had gone earlier..

And now Spurs have confirmed. I wonder what the final deal was? Whatever it was, it's not going to be pretty..
At least now we can properly conduct our transfers, once RSC goes too..
