Good signing in Ade, Suprised City have let a striker of his ability go, He is miles better than Balotelli and Dzeko in my opinion.

Emmanuel Adebayor has completed a permanent transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, bringing a three-year association with the club to an end.

The Togolese forward made 34 appearances and scored 15 goals for City after joining from Arsenal in 2009 – he joins Spurs for an undisclosed fee.

Mark Hughes made Adebayor the third striker he signed in the summer of 2009, following Carlos Tevez and Roque Santa Cruz to the Etihad Stadium.

The 28-year old spent last season on loan at White Hart Lane with his last appearance in a City shirt coming on 1 December 2010 against Red Bull Salzburg in the Europa League. He scored 18 goals in 37 appearances for Spurs last season.

Well that frees up 170k a week in wages, hopefully we can bring in a couple of decent squad players now. Sinclair imminent, will be nice to have someone quick. Then we just need cover at CB I reckon.

Shame he gets to play against us now which undoubtedly means a goal or two, but thems the breaks. Let's sign Messi :D
