Go and have a read at some of the articles with Wenger stating your fans shitty attitude has cost you a top striker.
 
Just have to say how good his interviews were today (Sky and OS). He had an answer for everything, and told exactly what we fans want to hear. And the most important part of it: it looked like he meant it.

Reporter: "It is reported that Chelsea was also interested. Was it always Manchester City for you?"
Ade: "Yeah, of course - yeah. That's why I'm here."

Don't know why, but I thought that one was classic. Maybe his accent had something to do with it, but a straight-forward and good answer anyways.

In addition to this, I do think he will be MASSIVE for us actually. Just you wait and see mates.
 
He has the best english for all foreign people in the world (clarkson moment) purely because he speaks at 100mph to do that in english ! wow

I thik this is one striker too many, and I don't think he'll be a great player for us. Hope I'm wrong, but the fact that 90% of Arsenal fans want him gone, plus he spends more time offside than Benjani and misses more sitters than Andy Cole lead me to thinking that he's been bought more for his appeal as 'African Player Of The Year' than in any footballing capacity. Slag me all you like but this next season I have the feeling I'll be saying 'I told you so' a lot to fans who never saw some of his abject displays for Arsenal last season.

He wasn't at his best last season but he still managed 16 goals in all competitions which isn't too bad. You have that feeling all you want but he's a top striker who has scored a lot of goals for Arsenal since he's been there, the Arsenal fans are glad to see him go because of goings on last season off the pitch rather than how he performed on it
 
@PALEBLUE....................dont forget he wasnt happy about always playing upfront on his own but that wont be a problem at city now we have enough good forwards.
 
I can't see how this signing is bad in anyway. We have now two quality centre forwards in Ade and RSC. Cant wait to see Adebayor to play!
 
WOW, all we need now is a defence and then we can really put the shitters up the top 4!!! i knew being a City fan was special, but i never thought we would get glory too haha, will make victory & winning the league THAT much better!!!
