Wenger won't sell Adebayor to City but has put a £40mill price tag on Fabregas' head.

Now to me mate, Adebayor isnt as important to Arsenal as Fabregas is so what you claim as fact is merely fiction!

this is absolutely fantastic news! according to the arsenal fan i work with. he's been wanting shut of him for ages. arsenal fans are split down the middle on him apparently which, isn't really very promising. with eto'o, there are no doubters.

I think Adebayor is class and proven goal scorer.
He is just sick of Arsenal as they are only shoting for 4th and lack ambition...which is fair u want to fight for titles and each year wenger doesnt spend shit.

Not superstar goals, but if you notice, he gets quite a few from crosses in the box. IMO he would be the perfect target man by hi height alone. Plus his awareness of defenders around him makes him able to spring the off-side trap with ease.

Hope he signs.

In terms of whether we'd be better off with Eto'o or Adebayor, clearly Eto'o is the superior player, but there are many points for Adebayor which make him a very attractive option - he's younger, has plenty of PL experience and has a better attitude than Eto'o (I know people have queried Adebayor's attitude, but Eto'o is one of the worst around for sulking and being disruptive!), but the main point is surely the fact that Eto'o clearly never wanted to come to City, and therefore was a bad fit for the club. If we get Adebayor in the kind of mood he was in the season before last, with the fans behind him, we'll have a hell of a player on our hands - one of the best to have played at the Club, in my opinion.
