We scored from 3 set pieces, if I remember correctly :
1 - Elano's corner that almost went in against Pompey and Dunne followed up
2 - Garrido v. Liverpool
3 - Robinho v. Chelsea
4 - Micah v. Sunderland
Opposition defenders were deliberately conceding corners when under pressure as they knew we posed no threat. :-P

Regardless it would be exciting to threaten from set pieces once in a while. Recently, unless we slam it in straight from the free kick, it's a complete non event.
It would be great to be able to play 4-4-2 with them BOTH in the team. Against certain teams we'll need that.
Two 6'3" strikers will cause any defence problems with Robinho/Petrov and Sweep getting down the flanks.

I mentioned something similar to this in another thread I think, and I fully agree with you. How on earth would Stoke and the other grittier teams be able to handle the power of both Adebayor and RSC? I honestly don't think they could. Adebayor is no slouch either so we could still play balls in behind their back four.
The flexibility that these four strikers give us (Tevez, Santa Cruz, Robinho, and Adebayor provided he signs) is absolutely mind blowing. We'd have scope to change the team dependent on other teams tactics rather than only changing a team if we've got an injury. This geniunely excites me.

the thing that stands out the most for me with EA is how mobile and light on his feet he is for a big lad if city sign this lad it could be the biggest bargain at £22mill

That's why I'm praying we finalise it soon. It really would be a bargain compared to other prices this summer.
