Just spoke to a long term poster on the phone.

I said "haven't seen you on Bluemoon for a while"

He said "I'm leaving it a few weeks. I can't stand it any more. That Adebayor thread is the last straw for me."

and then he said

"That Blueinusa is a fucking dick of the first order"

Just passing that info on. I haven't read the thread myself beyond a page or two.

I've just figured out how the ignore function works, I'm going to be busy, can do you a list if you like.

seems a shame that the mods have let this one slide, it really will hurt the site

Alot of crap has been posted on this forum over the years, these posts are some of the worst.

Fuck me, i called him a dick! Stay around for a while pal, you will hear lots worse than that said about other players and fellow fans.

Tell me, what time will the police be round to take me to the european courts of justice?

It's been a low point for the site no doubt, but at least it's shown a few up for what they are. Sorted the wheat from the chaff if you like.

I'm going to take the time to have a look through and identify a few more people who I thought were worth interecting with but clearly aren't.

A list would be great. Name and fucking shame.

Does it really bother you that much that some people are capable of seeing footballers as something other than two dimensional tabloid inventions without a soul, are any emotion?

I wouldn't wish what happened to Ade upon anyone, not even you...

People are turning this into something that it's not.

We've all expressed our sympathy and sorrow about the events of Cabinda, we're all (well most) readily prepared to accept that Adebayor will need time away to get his head right.

The vast, vast majority of those being slated have not been outraged by his actions, they haven't been wound up by it, they haven't been upset by it and they're not demanding draconian punishments for him. They've just expressed an opinion that it wasn't a smart thing to do, and that has been backed up by the fact that he was on the TV a day later "correcting" his mistake.

It's sad that people are trying to turn things into anything more significant than that.
