Adebayor on strike.

Why is the maximum fine 2 weeks wages?

Is that for every day he doesn't turn up?
As far as I know if the club want to fine him any more than that, they must do so in consultation with the PFA. No one messes with Gordon Taylor and Clarke Carlisle.

Manchester City has been sympathectic to both these players in one way or another.

ade: when it all kicked off with the shooting episode, gave him loads of time off.
Bellers: Helped with his dream move to Cardiff by paying for him?

And both of them have bitched ,moaned and acted like dicks.

Its funny how earning mega money can make people forget who it is that pay there wages.

Sad!

if he ends up at madrid, we have got very lucky , as has he

On the face of it you have to wonder why anyone would want to take him on,however, given he can be brilliant when he gets what he wants and everything is going his way,it could be a very shrewd move by Jose.I imagine Ade will take a big pay cut to get away and the fee will be less than half what we paid.

adebayor could have been the right striker that city needed, started well and then got lazy. i kind of understand him not turning up for training with the reseve team. slightly imbarressing! but if he goes back to madrid he will bag goals galore maybe if mancini gave him the oppotunity like mouriniho has he could have been more succesful here.

Didn't he score about 1 in 4 whilst he was there? Hardly goals galore considering Tevez's ratio for us is something like 1 in 1.5?

Correct.

Bellamy in particular is a ****. when city let him go to cardiff and funded the deal to make it happen, there was rumoured to be a gentlemans agreement not to slag the club off. bellamy duly respected that and indeed at the press conference on his 1st day at cardiff neatly fielded all questions about mancini with a text-book response"-he,s a good manager, i haven,t got a problem with him,he will go on to win trophies at city,"....so far so good.

cardiff don,t get promoted, they can,t afford to buy craig,so he ends up back at city.slagging the manager, explaining why he won,t take a pay cut to go elsewhere because his african charity needs the money..do me a favour craig-keep your mouth shut, get your head down in pre-season training and stop biting the hand that feeds you-try and put yourself on the market so that other clubs see you as the right sort of professional to give a generous contract to..

don,t come across as the sort of foul mouthed, troublesome professional who simply moves from club-to-club,never wins anything in his career and is at odds with someone/thing 24/7.

great player for us,but soon reverted to type when things didn,t go his way and he undermined the new manager-great move that craig-it meant you missed out on your 1st ever career medal.you haventy got long left at the top mate-think carefully about your posistion and don,t let your ..ahem..charity down.

Perhaps I am missing something but as I undersatnd the rules you can only fine a player the maximum of two weeks wages when he does something wrong. He was instructed to turn up today for training: he no shows which earns him a fine of 2 weeks wages.
Tomorrow he is again instructed to turn up for training, he does not and again it is a fine of two weeks wages and so on and so on, soon the ignorant greedy sh*t will get the message.

im not sure his goalscoring record, but he certainly beat Benzema and a almost-fit Higuain out of the side on more then one occasion. 2 players who some people on here are drooling over to come in some sort of fantasy Tevez Madrid swap deal.

Its sad. Each night I check these threads and it's the same few people falling over themselves to defend the indefensible.

Put another way. Before you call someone else a ****. Make sure you're not defending a ****.
