Adebayor to PSG for £12m?

I think 12 mill is fair for ade. We just need to get him off our wage bill.

are we undervaluing him just to get rid?

It's the City tax. When we sell a player, the price gets cut in half. When we buy a player, the price gets doubled.

Than, regardless of what happens, the clubs manager and the papers report how we are ruining football, inflating the transfer market, and are the breeding ground of all that is evil in this world.

As long as hes off the wage book i really dont mind, cant ever see him playing for city again, unfortunetly i cant see this deal happening, they seem to be linked with a lot of players and the deals never happen

New York Red Bulls? Do they pay these sort of wages?

Emmanuel Adebayor will be offered the opportunity to link up again with Thierry Henry at New York Red Bulls if the Americans can agree terms with Manchester City.

The Major League Soccer side have been in contact with Adebayor’s advisors and are believed to be willing to match his £175,000-a-week wage at the Premier League club.

Henry and Adebayor were team-mates at Arsenal between January 2006 and the summer of 2007, when the Frenchman left to join Barcelona. Henry, 34, has been in New York since July 2010.

Adebayor is considering his next career move after a positive season on loan at Tottenham, where he has scored 16 goals to help the club to the brink of a top-four finish in the Premier League.

CIty, please do what ever it takes to get him off our books.

I just want Ade,RSC and Bridge to fuck off .

In MLS you can have 3 (I think?) designated players per team who wouldn't cost against a team's salary cap. NY are colossal underachievers every year and even though they moved into a world class stadium they still don't draw any fans.

His salary is every other player on NY (minus Henry) combined so it's kind of hard to see.

Didn't realize this is the last year of his contract. Would sell for even 5m instead of letting him walk for free next summer if possible

Don't know how many designated players NY are up to but they've also been linked to Nesta and Del Piero as well, probably more realistic targets considering their ages compared to Adebayor.

Never thought of it in that respect before, obviously we have paid over the odds when we want somebody ..but when we sell..When did we last make a profit ? On a sale that is . When Bayern wanted Boeteng in the summer we struggled to make a profit.
