I would take that as well. Anything to get rid of him permanent and bring in a player we can actually use.

Yep, Diarra is class. Underrated IMO. Him or Daniele de rossi (more favourably, assuming he's approachable and still in top form) would make me very jubilant about the defensive mids.

Sounds good to me too. Castiel (i think) was suggesting though that he is not one to play second fiddle. De Jong has earned his spot. Not sure if Diarra would be happy with 20 games or so. Don't see him getting much than that with our midfield.

SSN reporting ( 'The Times' ) Spurs agree loan deal for Adebayor...

surely this aint gonna happen, spuds offering to pay £75,000 of his £175,000 a week wages,we lend one of our rivals a top quality striker and we pay for him to help them as well, not gonna happen, better not happen

no chance whatsoever of this being true!!!

I'll say this. I would much much rather have Lennon at the club over Ade.

I've always liked Lennon.

Wasn't there a suggestion that he bottled it before a champions league game last year and there are questions about his mental strength when the going gets tough?

Absolute bollocks. He may go to them on loan but only if they pay his full wage or Ade himself takes the hit, which is nowhere near that figure anyway.

Usual press bullshit to keep our so called over-inflated salary details in the public light. Another soggy arm to beat us with.

If he goes on loan then the receiving club have to pay his wages, and not just part of them, all of them. If they can't afford it, then he stays with the EDS and plays for them. If he doesn't like it, then he takes a deal at another club, but with a wage drop. Simple stuff really. It puts paid to that age old myth about players wanting to play more than anything else - Bellamy and Adebayor are putting that one to pasture. Greed, pure and simple.
