Adebayor to Spurs

I lose a little faith in common sense every time i read this thread....

Some people need to stop giving opinion as fact, or correct..

In simple terms even paying half of Ade's wage bill will be great for our FFP forecast.

His wage's do not count against us because his deal was in 2010, but the loan fee and the % of salary they pay will all be classed as income. So £5m wage saving + the £2m fee, £7m towards FFP compliance.... It really is that simple, and what the entire deal is about.

Forget helping Tottenham, if they are still our rival then we are in trouble.
I would like to be reassured that UEFA would not deem this to be an attempt to get round the FFP rules. But if is a fact - and not just your opinion - then it is decisive for me (given the absence of other suitors).

Getting your uncle to name your stadium may be "getting round the FFP rules". Loaning a player to another club is as clean as it comes. There is nothing wrong with making deals with FFP in mind. The fact that this is a deal with a competitor makes this completely above board.

Personally I'd offer a better deal to a club abroad, would rather not pay £100,000 a week to help spurs.

And when Ade said no, what would you do then?

let him rot in the reserves

Heart speaking not your head. 7 Million of income for FFPR is better business.
