We loaned him out until end of June. Thats 40 weeks from now.
They pay half of his wage AND pay 3 m loan fee.
40 times 80k= about 3.2 m pounds.
2+2=4
They get Ade for 160k/week and it is only 40 weeks. So in all it is around 6-6.5 million pounds.
It is cheap for them for a striker like Ade and we dont spend 6 m for someone who is not even in the squad. Win-win maybe. Hopefully they still will struggle for top 4 but Ade scores a lot and makes his market price higher. Next summer we face the same problem, but if he runs a good season it is good for him and us (and Spurs.)
If he has a bad season he will come back and no teams will want him not even teams like Spurs.

That makes no sense to me, why ask for a loan fee but they don't pay all of his wages, surely it would jsut make sense to get them to pay all of his wages which would be the same outlay for them.

His wages don't count towards FFP but a loan fee would count as income.taconinja said:Perhaps I heard wrong but reports are (at least initially) we're paying 50% of his wages.jonmcity said:we need him off our pay role as he will not play for us again. if someone is willing to sign him all well and good. if not send him out on lone and make the club pay his wages. dont care home or abroad. blackburn are trying to sign big names lol send him to the chicken farmers.

Yeah, I will to be honest. Top footballer, and a great guy.
Shame so many people choose to treat him like a twat. Guess the manager set the trend though...

Act like a twat and be treated like one Billy.

There's a gaping hole in that logic which I won't bother pointing out...
