Adebayor to Spurs

It's ok saying we should loan him to a foreign team which I would prefer but it also depends on if the player would go to a certain club.

Ade wanted Madrid but they don't really want him and now he wants Spurs and Spurs do want him.

Better we lose the 3 million and keep some respect I say.

So people are going to be happy loaning tevez to inter or some club in brazil because that is what is coming next if we go down this road.

If it's happening fine there is nothing we can do about it but at least be honest and say it how it is. You can't put lipstick on a pig.

Ideally we'd like to sell the likes of Tevez and Adebayor. Unfortunately it seems there aren't any buyers out there. Therefore, a loan is the next best option because it:
1. Removes the wages (or a portion thereof) off the wage bill.
2. Removes an unhappy player from the squad.
3. Puts the player in the shop window for another potential buyer when the loan period ends.

Fuck off Alera! You're shitting yourself because you think he'll spur on the Spurs to overtake us in the league? You seen the rest of the squad? You seen the rest of the squad minus Modric?

Keep some respect? By not loaning him and letting him fuck off in the reserves? Actually, that's one of the reasons why people slag us off. We've got Adebayor and he's just fucking around somewhere. Yes, I know its not as simple as that so that try to educate me on the matter.

Want to talk about respect? I'll get wishy washy and say that its his career and he has every right to play. He's said that he would gladly come back to City. Thankfully, Mancini don't want him.

Adebayor's wages do not currently count in FFP calculations. If we loaned him out and paid half, they WOULD be countable in FFP calculations.

Us loaning him to Spurs, in reality, would mean that we would loan a top striker to a rival and we would pay for the privilege.

This is why this is a load of shit.

No other top club in the world would loan out players like adebayor or tevez.

Nasri only has 1 year left on his contract yet arsenal are getting 25 million for him from us.

Like I said if it happening there is nothing we can do but let's at least be honest and say it how it is. It's a shit piece of business and is likely to cost us far more money than it saves.

And no I am not at all worried about spurs. If we cant finish above spurs with the money we have spent we really would have a big problem. It's about the message it would send out when we are signing and selling players. People dont seem to understand this.

You believe Ladyman also then when he says that we won't be paying any of his wages?

Paying half is a seperate issue of course, but what if as Ladyman reports they would cover the full wages.
