Adebayor to Spurs

Sick of hearing "he will help them take points of our rivals". These points along with the points he will help them get against the shit teams will put them close to us and there are only four places up for grabs which will be contested by at least 6 teams. This prospective loan deal is lunacy and could very well bite us in the arse.

Excactly..Adebayawn could get nowt against the top teams home and away yet score against the rest ( possible 12 teams) home and away giving spuds wins in all these.
3points home and away against 12 teams is 72 points for christs sake..
not good business at all.
Nothing is impossible in football.

agree!! would rather we done a similar deal with real or a swop for diarra or even kaka!!!

If it's a loan impossible to dress it other that a terrible piece of business.

A 3 or 4 million saving in wages is nothing In Terms of our turnover now especially when you consider the huge amount we stand to loose through player sales by showing such weakness.

Also people don't seem to understand how bad loans are in terms of ruining chances of selling players permanently. It also showns great weakness and ruins resale values. Examples. We were offered 6 million for nedum by sunderland last season. We wanted 8 million. Had a great season on loan we are now being offered 3 million. Robinho signed for 32 million. Had a great first season in the prem. Sent on loan sold for 16 - 18 million. Bellamy on loan - worthless. Same bridge.

You never get more money you only get less. It also makes us look like a soft touch, a walkover and weak in the Market in regards to player negotiation. Why would anyone sign tevez when we let 25 million players go on loan and pay their wages ?

Some people are very naive when they look at this situation.

appreciate all views - but we need to raise our sights

the improvements we have made mean that Spurs are not our challengers this season - with or without ade

we are a bit fucked if anyone really think that we will finish below spuds - if that is a case we will likely be 6th

and as he cannot play against us I think that it is a good move - he might help take a few points of the scum and chelski and that could be the difference in us winning the league

Lewis backed spurs to win the prem last december. The pillock hasn't a clue.

That rant about spuds winning the league was hilarious.
He's admitted publicly that spurs are on his journalistic "patch"....it seems he'll say anything to stay in arry's favour.
Interesting that Ade going to spurs is now being portrayed as some kind of "masterstroke" by arry...the final piece in the master plan...the awesome attacking machine that is totting ham.
Totally ignoring the fact that spurs have the second dodgiest keeper in the league, and a "world class" centre half made of glass.

Remember all the "mercenary troublemaker" shit thrown at us when we signed him?don't see too much of that now......dont know what hold arry has over the fleet st mob,but he can't ever seem to do any wrong or get called out for a dodgy signing.

Oh and breaking they also brilliant wage structure for him on a LOAN

So we keep him, pay him all his wages, and stick him in the reserves? What will that do to his resale value?

If we didn't act like pussies and held our nerve it wouldn't come to that. When he feels like it he is a top player he proved that last season at real

What we are being offered is an insulting piss take just about every top club in Europe would take the reported terms. So why take them from a club that could compete with us in our own league ?

Its total bullshit that spurs are the only club that would be interested in him on those sort of terms.

I would actually argue the 3 or 4 million we will save is insignificant I. Terms of the loss we will take when selling tevez and other players due to the weakness we are showing.

Personally I hope we are using their interest to draw out interest from other clubs abroad. Look at nedum and swp one club make and offer and another 2 or 3 come in.

Every football club in Europe knows we want to get rid of Adebayor. Do you really think we have a long list of potential suitors and we're choosing to loan him to a rival?

right thats it, fuck off Cook, fuck off Mancini, you know absolutely fuck all as manager and CEO of a top football club, alera knows everything and is coming in to do both of your jobs

Tottenham's defense is so world class that they won't be scored against. It's not like all they do is attack.
