For all you that slagged him yesterday;

1. He was the reason City scored the first goal. His pressuring of the Bolton defender led to us gaining possession
2. Held the ball up superbly and dragged his defender out of position to make the space for Richards to score.

Someone actually called him Lazybayor yesterday. If he was that lazy we wouldn't have got back on level terms first time round!

I really think that some of our fans fail to see past their (also the media's) pre-conceptions of our players. Ade and Robbie will always be lazy selfish mercenaries to them.

I saw that, and thought likewise.

He doesn't have to run around at 100 mph to be effective. We need to play the ball into his feet a lot more instead of using his height.

ade is a great player, one of the best. but to rate a player on the day of his game and not going into preconceptions ade was absoloutley shocking yesterday. no effort, no grit he couldn't even ber arsed to leave the pitch.

He's the finest striker I've seen playing for City in my 20 years of support.

And i cant think of another striker in the last 30 years (hmm possibly Anelka) who has demanded the constant attention of 2/3 defenders while he is on the pitch.

Bang on about the media. They have always called Anelka a lazy sod yet when he was here he would work his socks off every minute he was on the pitch with a blue shirt on. I think some fans need to make judgements and opinions based on what they see and not what the media suggests. Ade is a grafter and Robbie isn't, he doesn't need to be, that's not his job or his game, he's a flair player, a creator, he doesn't need to be running round like a dickhead he can change a game in 20 seconds and thats all you need in 90 if it leads to the winner.

Indeed, that's one of the best parts of his game - pulling defenders all over the place off the ball, as they know if he does get it he can inflict a lot of damage.
