He did make it difficult for us to offload him though when he turned down the PSG move which would have suited all parties.

They were willing to pay 20 Mil for him but he thought that he is bigger than PSG.

The slating of Adebayor is hardly justified. He hasnt bad mouthed the club and was banished when we suddenly decided he wasn't good enough anymore.

He is a good striker Ade but not near the standard were setting . I wish him the best apart from when he plays us of course. Also I can't imagine him doing an 70 yard run and slide in front of us if he ever scored against us . We keep our class unlike them Mardy Goons

Great news -him and Kolo, that's £270k a week right there.

Get Tevez and Dzeko off and we are suddenly £600k a week better off before we bring anyone in and £50m in the transfer kitty.

Would be quite happy to see Adebayor go as he's a City player in name only whilst Kolo is a sub at best

However if Dzeko And Tevez go we would be a stupid move football wise. I don't believe we're in the business of selling our best players no matter how much money it makes us.

Good player and he will always score a fair amount of goals wherever he goes, AVB seems to have an 'all hands on deck' everybody working for the team type ethic to his management though and he seems to want his teams to keep a certain structure so I'm not sure he will flourish quite as much as he did under Redknapp

Will always have fond memories of the celebration v the Arse. At least he will feel "loved" again at Spurs...I'd give it a season or so until he gets fed up and wants a change of club.

Spurs have a bargain in Adebayor, but he had to move on. Playing on loan isn't ideal. If he becomes the centre of Spurs team he can score 20-30 goals for them.

The main reason wasn`t down to his ability.It was his constant bad mouthing of the club and his willingness to cause unrest within the camp that became his downfall.
