It's perverse because with the exception of Tevez you are talking about players that could in no way be considered as world class. A top QB/WR in the NFL might earn that in one year alone, but this is someone who is literally the best at what he does. Tom Cruise is a pretty poor example. Any money he gets for a film is peanuts compared to the box-office returns.

The slating of Adebayor is hardly justified. He hasnt bad mouthed the club and was banished when we suddenly decided he wasn't good enough anymore.

I agree, it was obvious very quickly that he was just not Mancini's type of player as in his overall work rate just was not up to what Mancini correctly expected of him.

Still think he did a decent job for us, scored some cracking goals and I personally will never forget the slide he did towards the Arsenal fans, pure comedy gold the way they reacted, they soon stopped singing that shite song about him.
