Maybe we're in for Sandro?
Much better than Fellaini in the deep role IMO. Actually, a very very good player, only 23 as well.

Re: Adebayor

Johnson can't beat the first man 9 times out of 10 so why be concerned? If he played for the rags we'd laugh at how ineffective he is, even against Al Hilal he couldn't get past the first man (I know it's a friendly but still). He always plays like he has a hangover, I know he has a good shot on him and has chipped in with some goals and assists but his overall contribution is so poor for our level. If Spurs offered good money and we sold it might spur us into signing a better winger anyway. Santa Cazorla would do.

Johnson going to Tottenham would concern me personally. They are a team that play with width and he would thrive in that team as they play to his strengths. Because we play a passing game and don't really use direct wingers as such it limits the impact that he can have and forfiets his playing style limiting his impact.

Johnson has scored some brilliant goals at crucial times for us but he is used as a substitute on many occasions and never seems to be able to establish himself as a first team regular. Mancini has made several public statements highlighting his need to improve his game, indicating that he may not rate him?

I just think that if Tottenham sign Johnson then it could be one that could come back to bite us on the arse.
m not worried about Johnson, don´t think to many blues are as well. At least those who see him play a full game rather then watch MOTD and make up their mind about him.

Re: Adebayor

Is Levy playing hardball again, I thought this deal was just a formality...

TOTTENHAM target Emmanuel Adebayor will return to training with Manchester City today still unsure about his future.

The striker, 28, wants to sign for Spurs where he scored 18 goals on loan last season.

But City, who paid Arsenal £25million for him in 2009, are demanding £6m.

Talks have stalled even though Adebayor has offered to take a big cut to his £175,000-a-week wages.

He last played for City in December 2010 and has since been loaned to Real Madrid and Spurs.

Somehow I knew this would happen. We can agree fee's with as many different clubs as we like, it's finding one that will pay his wages that will be the problem. Ade needs to take a huge pay-cut to join Spurs and I can't see him doing it.

Re: Adebayor
