Spurs are too greedy.

They are getting a player of the quality of Adebayor but they are not willing to pay a 6 Mil for him even though he cost City 25 Mil ?


If Ade is not willing to compromise and take a pay cut in order to leave, then let him play with the reserve or use him as 4th or 5th striker.

Last thing I heard (all of 2-3 days ago), Ade HAD agreed to lower his salary - Spurs are going to pay him a hefty signing-on fee instead.

Besides, this is clearly not about his wages, this is clearly about Levy trying to extort us for as little fee as possible.

Is Levy playing hardball again, I thought this deal was just a formality...

TOTTENHAM target Emmanuel Adebayor will return to training with Manchester City today still unsure about his future.

The striker, 28, wants to sign for Spurs where he scored 18 goals on loan last season.

But City, who paid Arsenal £25million for him in 2009, are demanding £6m.

Talks have stalled even though Adebayor has offered to take a big cut to his £175,000-a-week wages.

He last played for City in December 2010 and has since been loaned to Real Madrid and Spurs.

This must be a fucking joke. If it is true, Levy needs shooting.

See if we can pursuade him to go to PSG?
They now have CL ahead of Spurs.
He would not be helping a PL rival.
Failing that threaten to loan him to another club?

All it is like I've said before its about Levy saving a few quid in wages he'll be gone about a week before season starts
