There are surely some stupid people at City dealing with outgoing transfers.

At Spurs they sold Corluka for 4-5 m pound, then Krancjar for another 4-5 m pounds, and noe they are looking to sell Pienaar for 5 m pound to Everton, exactly from where they signed Pienaar for 2.5m pounds.

None of these players are as good or as useful, or even a starting team player at Spurs while Adebayor would be their only realible striker. (they only have Defoe now in that position.)

Spurs are getting 15 m for the 3 players mentioned above. We are about to get 5m for a striker like Adebayor.

...and they got 12m for Crouch ffs

Its all about the wages we gave these guys to come here in the first place.

To sanction such a loan deal for Adebayor with spuds without the obligation of an outright purchase clause and a fee set in place is just plain stupid. Fucking daft

There is no such thing as obligation to sign. Its all up to the player. spurs would agree with it anyway and come signing time they wouldnt agree on wages. Spurs would even sign him last season.....problem is the wages he's on is just crazy

How can the wages be such an issue - the only reason we are looking to let him go fpr 5 mill is so the buying club can compensate ade. Otherwise he would be 15-20 mill minimum.

Adebayor came to City because we were offering great big money & the chance to be part of a new challenge.

City offered Adebayor big money because he was a quality player, high profile & the only way to get him to come here to a club who had won fuck all for 30 odd years, was to pay him enormous amounts of money.

He scored a decent amount of goals & I think got a hat trick in one of his last games. Mancini doesn't rate him, so he has to go.

1) Were all you who are screaming about his wages, whinging when we signed him or cheering ? If you were whinging, carry on, if you were cheering, stop being such utter wankers.

2) Why the fuck should Adebayor accept a pay cut ? He tried to get in Mancini's team & he's not wanted, no matter how he plays, or how many he scores. That's our choice not his.

If i was dedicated to playing football i would! Seriously what can you suddenly not do with £100k a week that you could do with £175k a week? Oh no dont tell me you can only buy 1 buggatti that week or only 2 mansions! You getting the picture here pal? And how do you know what the wage cut is then eh? Its a fucking wage cut, hes got to accept it if he's to go anywhere so he might as well deal with it. He wont get a chance to move to a better club than spurs this summer.

Why should Adebayor not try to get the best deal for himself ?

Did he spend last season sat on his arse ? Did he lose any money ?

Adebayor played football & got his wages last season. Why the fuck should he not try to do the same this season, just to make it easy for the world's richest club ? Think about it ffs. He doesn't owe City, he's an employee. Use your brains like he is doing.
