His priority may have been to get in City's team & earn loads of money & win stuff. Now, even if he signs for Spurs, he has stepped down a level from when he left Arsenal, so he's trying to get the best deal he can, as well as play football. That's what I would do.

We dont know what Spurs are offering him tbh. What if they are offering him 70k a week. thats 100k less than what he was on

I am not talking about if he is personal reasons and motives, as i stated quiet clearly i would prefere him to not lie and be honest.
I am not interested in "may have's" and "what if" type speculation.
I am going of what i see and hear is actually happening.

His claims first team football are his main priority do not hold up against his actions.
He has been offered a very nice pay package at spurs so the football first stuff is just rubbish.

I'll say it again. I do not care what his motives and reasons are, just be honest about them.

Not read the whole thread so this may have been mentioned previously but there is a majot chance that this is going to scupper the RVP deal (in my opinion). Not because of money but because the two of them have a major history and do not get on at all.

Hypothetically lets say Juve, Utd and us all offer RVP the same package....is it going to be a consideration for him that he's going to have to train every day with Ade?
