Aguero 93:20 8th Anniversary 16:53 Wednesday

Radio 5 Live commentary with 6-minutes to go of normal time. I give it a listen every anniversary. The orgasmic moment is about 9-minutes in and there’s no Alan Green to spoil the climax! Enjoy!

I think that must be the only commentary I've never heard from that game. Jeez the fuckin' tension was creeping over me again!

One was away against the league leaders to win by the smallest margin possible, and one at home against a bottom feeder. I think Arsenal's was better, maybe because I was younger when it happened, but city were about 1/10 to win the title that day ans Arsenal 10/1.

The match situation at the outset made the Arsenal result less likely, but going into the final moments (requiring two goals), coupled with who we pipped to the title, our rivals celebrating at Sunderland, and the wait for City preceding it, imo, made ours the more remarkable.

Not knocking Arsenals achievements but we put all other Premiership finishes in the shade.

Thanks for that. I too have never heard it before.

I was getting very nervous listening and the goose bumps arrived when Sergio scored.

It was a day, on which we all experienced every emotion possible. We had our 2 1/2 year cold grandson with us, and though I tried to shield him from the despondent atmosphere when we were losing 2-1, I’m sure he picked up on it.

Mrs Vienna took a photo of him post-match with his arm wrapped around the back of his neck, and a puzzled look on his face, trying to work out what he’d just seen.
