Aguero banned for three games (updated)

yup i agree

quinn should be removed from the hall of fame ( I feel that strongly about his consistent bias and negativity towards us and its not just about that one incident)......the officials at city should really start looking into this and at least doing something within the club about people like him......
Agreed, the lanky **** needs fucking off.

So by this rationale, bog brush will be getting retrospective bans every week, won't he? Won't hold my breath, more proof(if any was needed) of the unbridled bias, shown by the so called media and fa towards us. Where's the media shit storm, when bog brush is committing acts a million times worse than this? Where was the shit storm after Bardsley's dangerous challenge on Silva? Where's the shit storm regarding Costa's constant dirty tricks? Fuckin nowhere, and some people still believe there isn't an agenda. Really is a different set of rules applied to us, and it's really fucking me off now. Still perplexed how someone with a vetted interest in the rags is allowed to be part of the fa(conflict of interest anyone?) Someone should send those screenshots to the fa, questioning the validity of marriner's statement, showing he's an outright liar, with no moral fibre. I really hope we spank the rag muppets so badly now.

He was actually heavily involved in our best play. But basing anything on 1 game is dumb as fook. He has scored 7.

His mere presence on the pitch gives others more room. Any team would miss Aguero

I agree with what you're saying but can also understand where SWP's back is coming from as well. We're not so one direct as to just constantly look for Aguero all the time, others have started finding themselves in the box more, especially Sterling and Nolito, along with De Bruyne and Silva. So I guess what SWP's back is saying is that we don't have to rely on Aguero to grab us the goals all the time like we have done the last 3 years.

Can't complain tbh. Stupid from him but it felt like 50/50 if he deserved a ban or not. From one angle he looks innocent but guilty from another and by the looks of it he didnt really hit him. That Marriner said he didn't see anything is just insane though. Needs to be banned for three games as well if thats the case.

We are loaded with top players and a coach savvy enough to use them correctly.
We'll miss Sergio but not as much as the Rags hope we will.

So basically Marriner has finally come out and admitted he's an incompetent **** who's unable to see something going on right in front of him, 2 yards away. Should be disqualified.

They pushed nothing, SKY and the BBC review these incidents fairly and would have done had it been Rooney or Costa. It's just been spoken about more because Aguero isn't really known to do things like this.
If this was Balotelli back in his City day's we would all be calling him an idiot, but because it's Aguero it's been treated as some sort of vendetta or conspiracy.
If it's so fair and above board why is it that City players are the ones who get charged by the FA Disciplinary Committee? It may have happened, but I can not recall it, that a Utd player got an FA retrospective charge.

The process is bent. Aguero's challenge was far from the worst in the world seeing as he didn't touch Reid and it was Reid who clattered into him.

Along with his linesman. They were terrible all game......Matsuoka, whose cross led to their goal, should have been sent off for persistent fouls. I think he was the one who did Stones

They have quite clearly pushed it as headline news.

Regardless, he didn't elbow him - it was his hand that caught him on the follow through of what could just as easily be deemed Aguero shrugging Reid off after he'd just been pushed - the height difference means it's hard for Sergio to estimate where the intended shoulder/upper body is from the head so it makes it look bad.

No that's not a shit excuse, there is something in that somewhere i'm sure.

It's a grown up forum.

We adults are free to use the word fuck.

And he has scored 6.

The process is definitely bent and way too reliant on what the media makes a stink about. I wouldn't use Costa as a counter example, however. He is constantly doing bannable things and gets away with a few of them but he's also been drawn and quartered similarly via media witch hunt. He's a despicable player so I find it hard to care when this happens but I'm not sure his treatment is a point in favor of Sergio.

As many have said, Sergio opened up this opportunity by getting an elbow up. That it pretty much didn't connect and the ref didn't hit him on the spot for trying is sort of incidental and lucky for us, or would have been if the FA weren't the shithouses they are.

I'm not going to try and justify his actions by saying so and so player does it week in week out. He was stupid and got caught, hopefully won't do it again once Pep has kicked his arse around the training ground. Like others have said though, we can and will cope without him in the derby, that I have every confidence in.

I'd actually bet my house, that he IS the ref for the derby.
Well he's dubbed the higher standard of ref now after reffing the CL final and Euros final wasn't it? Or important European matches anyway. Fuck knows why, he let Tottenham have 3 offside goals in one game against us last season and another in the return fixture.

I don't have any issue with your view on Mariner, but if Kun hadn't done it, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Kun is solely to blame and I cannot see how anyone can defend him

IM NOT DEFENDING HIM

but the thread would exist in a very different form

the ref acts on what he saw - (he is lying when he said he didn't see it)....either gives a red or a yellow doing the match and our reaction is either he is fucking stupid to do it or he got away with one there.

or what actually happened - the ref acted on what he saw - he does nothing......then says to the FA -at the time i saw the incident but i didn't think it warranted a red/yellow card/any action but i admit i got it wrong. - we again say how lucky Kun is as the FA cant overturn a decision made in the match

the highlighted bit is where the ref is NOT taking responsibility which enables the FA to then use the loophole that they are doing.......this to me is cheating as it leaves it very debatable regarding the members who decide this and their fairness in dealing with these things

Did Stones, fouled Sterling countless times and if I'm correct, the booking was for something unrelated. However I can understand him not walking if Marriner was 2 yards or further away at the time.

Fellini last season missed West Ham.
