Without any prejudice, what are the possible outcomes from the hearing?

Not the vibe I'm getting from the thread at all.
Most are pissed because the media is selective who they go after, the FA are also selective and the ref is telling blatant lies. If there was any consistency most wouldn't give a shit!
Don't care what anyone says....it was not an elbow to the face, as Reid immediately tried to make it seem, but an arm. Reid's arm (fist) was to the right side of Kun's head, while Kun's forearm grazed the side of Reid's neck. Was it worse than the foul on Arsenal's Sanchez for their penalty at Watford? Absolutely not! Costa' s leg breaker on the keeper?
The whole "video referee" is a joke! It has become a political tool. It doesn't get rid of the bad elements in the game, it merely picks and chooses WHICH elements it will go after based on spineless referees, who dont act on what they see or don't see what they should have seen. It will be interesting to see what happens to Marriner, if anything, after this. I think it is absolutely stone cold, dead on, that he is cheating here.
The other MAIN problem will things like this is not that they think they are able to referee the game after it has been played by using video, it is that they are not using this technology to make the game safer by eradicating the leg breaker or the career render, but the FA has started to be REACTIVE TO THE MEDIA. Games are played in front of dozens of 4K cameras, with super-slo-mo from every direction, and then dissected by ex-players with favorite teams and agendas (most of whom played for Liverpool or Man Utd!), then written about in the papers and on the web (with suitably chosen freeze frames from video to magnify their point) BEFORE the people at the FA have even finished their weekend round of prawn sandwiches and champagne!
The entire PROCESS is flawed...and what is happening here is just another heaping helping of evidence.
The FA should simply come out and say that they are going to crack down on ALL violent action, whether seen, not seen, dealt with, not dealt with, and be done with it. There will be a dozen players banned the first week, and some players (Fellaini??) will miss about 6-10 games a season, but at least it will not be down to the whims of the bent referees and the media onslaught that occurs BEFORE the FA makes their "decision."
Complete joke, from soup to nuts!
I don't have any issue with your view on Mariner, but if Kun hadn't done it, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Kun is solely to blame and I cannot see how anyone can defend him

I agree with this, they need to be more consistent, but there's a possibility the ref would have put in his report that he saw it and deemed it not a foul at the time. Once the ref states he saw the incident the FA can't do fuck all.
It was his arm because his elbow missed. The intent was clearly there and that is what counts
"Nil charge or yellow " .... LOL as if. It will be a 3 match ban.I was looking at what options are avail
I assume
Nil Charge
Yellow
Red
AN Others?
And this is precisely why the whole thing is bent. The ref did or didn't see it is precisely how they can punish us retrospectively and not the rags - it's their get out of jail free card and they can use it however they see fit. This is how they can gerrymander the whole system to suit their needs.
It wasn't a red. if you view it from other angles it's clear that Aguero doesn't make contact with his elbow. I'd say it should have been a yellow, and Reid was holding him. Rooney elbowed Davies in the Hull game. That has received very little coverage.
Earlier in the thread. Sorry, I'm not looking. Should come up as a gif in google images though. It was a clear elbow as he moved past him.Personally I think Sergio is bang to rights, but I just noticed this on an Everton forum.
I don't suppose anyone has a clip of this?
Costa, Felliani,Suarez, Rooney, Balotelli, Schweinsteiger...... players banned by FA over last 5 years (to my knowledge) that's 2 City players (including Aguero if he gets banned), 1 Chelsea player, 1 Liverpool player and 3 United players
Remember when the ref said he never saw this?

Does that mean we also get a "get out of jail free" card as well?
Did Fellaini ever get banned for spitting on our players during the derby?
