Aguero - Golden Boot and Strike Rates

Vardy is well ahead on combined goals and assists this season with 12 assists whereas Kane and Aguero have 3 apiece.

I'm not much into all of the media bias but I find it funny the 2 man city players who prove themselves to be some of the deadliest ever both have failed to ever make the PFA team of the year.

And Sturridge as well if you want to stretch the bias a little lol

Hart's still up for his 5th Golden Gloves award too, although it's a 4 way tie so far. Petr Cech, Joe Hart, Kasper Schmeichel and David de Gea are all on 15 clean sheets.

If Hart shares (or wins outright) the Golden Gloves, we get Champions League next year.
Aguero getting the Golden Boot would be great too but, nervous old Nellie that I am, I'll be wanting Joe Hart to pick up his award first and hoping Sergio makes it a double celebration after.

Not necessarily. If all four goalkeepers concede but we lose and the rags win... Best hope Sergio rattles in a hat trick :)

If he can stay largely injury free, Kun could score stupid amounts of goals and break all kinds of records over the next 3 years under Pep.

Continuing the “love Aguero” theme, in 24 Premier League Seasons a strike rate of better than a goal per 100 minutes played in a season has only been achieved 9 times by players who have got more than 15 goals – 6 times by others and 3 times by Aguero consecutively in the last 3 seasons. Another staggering achievement if you consider who he has been up against.

We all know he is the best but worth reminding IMO at how much better than the rest he actually is.

Here is the table:

if Kun gets a hat trick today he will better gaynaldos stats for best strike rate mins on that table
he would be below a goal every 88 mins

If Kun and Pep are both here for the next 3 seasons I think he could reach the 200 PL goal mark in that time. He's currently on 102 so he would need an average of 33 goals per season which I think Serg is more than capable of in a Pep system surrounded by world class players and still in his peak years. The one caveat of course is that he would need to stay injury free for the majority of the next 3 seasons. This would put him at least in the top 3 PL scorers of all time and possibly 2nd if Shrek fucks of to China.

I think Kun is capable of getting to 200 if he stays relatively injury free but that is easier said than done and if it's under Pep it will be more than 3 years. The PL record is 31 so you're saying he'll have to average bettering that every year for the next three..can't see it happening.
