Aguero v Bournemouth steward - allegation withdrawn

If the affected fans make a complaint to HSE along the lines of repeat of Hillsborough, had to spill onto pitch to avoid being crushed that would take some getting rid off

As someone else said that would be my defence for going into the pitch for the fan who got nicked. In the furore caused by the aggressive overreaction of the stewards and police I was dragged onto the pitch, fearing for my safety My lord and was then grabbed in a chokehold and arrested.

I don't think City will let it go, or Sergio. I think (probably hope more than anything) one of the two will go after the daily fail and the overly agressive steward. We still don't know what hapenned to the fan involved, and I've not seen it but fred being pulled back from the celebration has to be something we can't let go either.

Lets be honest, if we leave it as is, we're fucked at away games as fans. Every meathead steward (not normal ones) in the country is going to be looking at us "funny".

The club has become every bullies whipping boy and this dignified silence to every attack isn't working. It might be our owners way but someone needs to tell them they need to fight fire with fire on occasion. As for the fan there is a twitter link to him on this thread somewhere.

we really should all get behind this from the 1894 group

Quita a few fans of other clubs are doing similar campaigns too.

Shouldn't The Times and Sunday Times be added to the list too?
I find it incredible that people blame a newspaper and not the people. Surely you want to hurt the owner and not just one of his publications?

Happy if all of them were to be fucked off and any murdoch rag from overseas also

Would appear that the police have not finished investigating...

Though how they can't have sufficient Video footage of the incident is beyond me. Sky have at least 6 cameras at every game.
I wonder if they've noticed that the steward who made the allegation tried to pull Fernandinho into the crowd?

They want to investigate their own inadequate over the top reaction to the whole sorry saga! Otherwise I see nothing else to investigate except maybe stewards assaulting our players and fan's.

Is that the fat steward who was on top of the City fan on the pitch?

What the f*** are these stewards doing on the pitch?

The players are still on the pitch, not in the stands.

The Times has reported that PSF and PFA have accused the police and stewards of disproportionate use of force.

Is it true that the steward gave the police a formal statement that he had been assaulted by Aguero? And then withdrew it. Don't the police usually take a dim view of that sort of thing?

Presumably when sterling ran towards the crowd he naturally assumed that they would remain in the stand. He's done nothing that hundreds of other strikers haven't done, just at the wrong stadium in front of the wrong ref
with of course the wrong coloured shirt on
