Aguero??

My god, a few weeks ago he banged a hat-trick at Stamford Bridge. The team's off form and so is he that's it. Talk of selling him is ludicrous.

Loyalty, hm.. if you're good enough you play, if you are not you don't. Simple as that. I've got absolutely fuck all personal issues with Aguero. And I absolutely appreciate what he has done for City in recent years but when he stops doing it I wouldn't care about loyalty.

You'll find that our next manager won't give a single fuck about loyalty too, if players would be able to perform on the way he wants them to perform, they'll play, if not they won't or will be sold. That's why he is successful, not because he is some romantic Romeo. He is the guy who sold Ronaldinho, one of the greatest and most exciting player that stepped on the football pitches. He's the guy who fucked off Ibrahimovic after one pretty good season and big money + Eto'o Barca paid for him.

You might be in for surprise if you expect him to cuddle balls of our popular players if they don't perform as he wants them to. And I don't think Aguero is performing as near enough recently that would make Pep wank.
Umm ... I'm afraid that you will find some Bayern fans disagreeing with you. Some players were labelled as his "favourite sons", e.g. Thiago and the other Spaniards, and much to the chagrin of some idiotic fans, they often start under Pep. So my point is that he does have some sense of loyalty towards the players he considers fit to his system, at least for some period of time, say a season or so, and these players may not be considered up to standard by the fans.

Kun may be considered an important cog in Pep's team, or maybe he is not. But presently he's still a player that seems to fit into his plan, unlike Mandzukic. Nor is his ego as big as Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Ibrahimovic. So I'll gladly support him and hope his form improve next season. After all, his goal tally is still pretty impressive despite missing a chunk of the season and not being in form since March.

Pep is to some extent a romantic Romeo too, or else he wouldn't persist with his romantic attacking philosophy for so long. But I'd say that's part of his charm.

Hence "perform on the way he wants". He just doesn't give a flying one what we, media and everyone else think, if some player doesn't satisfy him, he'll drop or sell him. And vice versa. Romantic Romeo is strictly in context of loyalty to what some player did in the past. I'm not fan of Thiago though, I hope he won't bring him.

I explained to you last night why I used the word liability and that is because of number of times we stayed without a worthy sub because of his 10thminute injuries. There was no any hiding behind English as second language, it's a fact, I'm Bosnian and this is the only place I speak/write English for some time now. And just as I accepted it last night, I could accept today that there might be better word(s) for it but I rate my English good enough to stand by liability being very fair word for situation where some player costs you a sub in 5 games during season (approx. don't know the real number, might be bit less or more), some of them very important ones and one of them being the biggest game the club has ever played. One more sub last night could do a wonders for us but we couldn't have it because Kompany's fitness proved once again to be, well, liability.
This thread is fun. It is like attending an Edin Dzeko revivalist meeting. It just shows how much I have missed the entertainment value of that thread. The Bosnians bring something quaintly different to these types of debates.

By the way Kun is 27 and playing in a team that has lost its way this season. I think it's just a tad premature to write him off at this stage.

Well said ..and he still manages to score 20+ goals in such a season .by the way , Kane leads him by how many goals currently ? I wish he scores a ton in last two to get us in top four and gets his hands on golden boot ..

I'm not writing him off, I'm just concerned and would happily take to be wrong later. Don't care a bit about Bosnian argument though, try with something better.

Not read all the thread but if anyone is suggesting we sell him they are crazy... players like him are gold dust no matter how much we get for him we would struggle to replace him with similar quality. It is true he seems to have been showing a lack of hunger and fight compared to his normal self(he doesn't seem to be jumping for headers and challenging defenders... maybe he did something in the PSG game to his leg, maybe he just doesn't want to get injured before COPA America) but maybe it is because the team around him has just steadily declined this season. Under Pep's guidance and tactics I expect he will make him more lethal than ever before he will improve him which is a scary thought for everyone else.

It's quite pertinent the Bosnian argument because you'll never know what it is to really support City. You're just a bloke who watches games on a stream and have no affinity to our club. So whilst you're banging on about loyalty, sentiment and other nonsense, those of us that have City in our blood will never agree with you. It makes it easier to disagree when you're chatting shite about one of the best players in the world mind.

Did you just get off the phone to him? I'm having second thoughts, Pep apparently has some sociopathic traits.

That's why he is successful, not because he is some romantic Romeo.

He is handsome, isn't he?

cuddle balls

That was kind of out of the blue.

make Pep wank.

At this point I've lost you in a homoerotic fantasy.
