Aguero's recovery?

Timing of injuries haven't been great this season, but we'll have plenty of options with a fully fit Negredo and Jovetic.

Aguero doesn't need to go anywhere. There would be no point whatsoever in buying 2 sub-quality strikers - none at all.

Spurs perfect example sell 1 class player and buy 10 sub standard, we could get 50m and then buy 2 half decent strikers, but would retain 1 world class player every day of week.

is it now worth thinking about selling him in the summer to one of the big Spanish clubs?

I love him to death, but if we got an offer in the region of 45-50m I think we should take it. Sergios injuries over the last 2 seasons have been a massive hindrance. I know hes still our top goal scorer but surely we could get 2 top 25m strikers to make up the loss of goals?

a fully fit and happy Sergio is arguably the 3rd best player in the world but a player who misses 3 months of a season isn't any good to anyone

I'm not sure the Premier League would allow us to play with 12 men.

Is this some sort of joke?

Injuries happen and this season has been a bad one for him.

The guy has to be either drunk or stupid. Or both.
Sell to one of the big Spanish clubs? They are our rival in the Champions League you know, what happens if Sergio scores the winner to knock us out or even worse the winner in a European Cup final.

Still a quarter of the season to go so silly to take risks.

I would think he'd be a sub against Southampton.

Take the risk now.

If we don't, by the time he gets back, it could be all over. Needs to play the next two games.

We can cope without him for the others if we have to.

You would think he'll need at least half an hour against Southampton to be in contention to start at Anfield. Just hope he's able to train fully next week.
