One of the reasons we are not seeing Messi run around pressing like he used to is because I think there is a lot of pressure on him to deliver in the World Cup and he cannot afford to get injured.

This is arguably Argentina's best chance of winning the World Cup for years as have arguably have their best collective set of attacking players they have ever had.

Unlike the club over country debate we have in England for players like Sergio and Messi winning the World Cup is everything and it would not surprise me if they would sacrifice a season just to have a chance of winning that cup.

My theory on Aguero's seemingly constant leg injuries is that he's simply holding too much weight there.

Nastasic and Jovetic have frequently been 1 or 2 weeks away according to Pellegrini.
