Air fryer/Slow Cooker vs Oven

Quick question then, say like tonight where I’ve had a supermarket frozen meal of macaroni cheese and its in a plastic tray that you chuck in the oven for an hour, can you do this in an air fryer?

Next time, depending on big your bowl is for the air fryer, set your your fryer at 120 - 140 degrees for 10 mins or to when it's able to move around and then raise the heat for another 10 -15, but stir it regular, so it cooks evenly.

It's a bit like everything else; buy some items you might want to eat as a staple food and experiment.

I want to cook the turkey crown this year in my ninja multi cooker. Itll be about 2kg in weight.
Im thinking pressure cook on high for about 20 mins and then air fry, 200 degrees for 25-30 mins.
To any experts on here does that sound about right for a turkey crown which is moist inside and crispy skin outside??

Bought an air fryer about 6 months ago, and have only used it a handful of times. Not sure I can really see any discernible benefit to it, other than shaving a few minutes off using the oven?

Hullo all.
Thinking about energy prices I've turned my freezer off as I don't think it warrants being on at the moment.
I also have an oven that I consider being an enormous energy sucker (I live alone). Imagine that being on 200 degrees just to cook one thing (whole roast chicken aside).

Looking into Air Dryers vs slow cooker (and there are hybrids but apparently the air frying capabilities aren't great).
Air fryers are super quick and have their limitations whereas slow cookers would be on for quite a bit longer (although I could batch cook and place the rest in the fridge then heat up).

Or just stick to using my hob and oven (those air fryers aren;'t particularly cheap).
Not sure how longer I'll be in this flat (and I've never really cooked in this kitchen given it's not much bigger than a bloody wardrobe.....)

Any thoughts on these?

Turned your freezer off? Are you a fan of rancid meat? Dear oh dear if I did that I'd render about £100 worth of food unsafe in a couple of days - instead of bags of ice cubes we'd have bags of water and tubs of ice cream that were Russian roulette. If you need to make savings mate there are safer ways of doing so

A pressure cooker is a real fuel changer - you need to use it right and your diet is a bit restricted as its old fashioned - my lad bought an air fryer and says when watching the smart meter the change between using that and the oven is only slight. I suppose it racks up but turning everything off at the plug rather than leaving them on standby is probably better
