Ajax fans being obnoxious

I don't like to generalise any set of fans, so it doesn't give me any pleasure to lump you all together.

However, all the shite this board has been spouting about Ajax being a non-entity has gotten me rather worked up. If City fans want to shake off the stereotype of being classless, loudmouthed, arrogant glory hunters then you need to wise up and have some freaking respect.

Saying that Ajax are a 'joke' and a 'feeder club' is beyond arrogant. As somebody thankfully pointed out, AFC Ajax have done more on the domestic, European and world stage than City will ever dream of.

Here's a quick copy and paste from Wikipedia:

I have little else to say - The stats speak for themselves, Sheikh's riches or not, to AFC Ajax: CITY ARE THE MINNOWS, they just won the lottery.

How can you compete with a club with one Ted Bates trophy to their name? Do you know how many Thomas Cook trophies we have?! Where do you think the three stars come from?!
He forgot to mention the floodlights at Maine Road.

Also, are you going to tell him we were only Runners-Up in the Full Members' Cup, or shall I?

Chill man, it's only a game. It's not all about winning, it's the taking part that counts :-)

His reply confirms why most decent Dutch football fans despise Ajax (they are the rags of Holland) Imagine being lectured on arrogance by the likes of him. Anyway they have never won the Joan Gamper trophy!

If our domestic league was a 16 team debacle tant amount to the GM Vauxhall Conference we'd have a few more domestic titles.

Fair play in Europe, but to be fair, you've had enough attempts at it!

Ha ha, LOL at this clown. Lots of honours for Ajax for sure, but in a mickey mouse divsion where their chief competitors, currently PSV and Twente, play in piddly little stadiums with 30000 gates on a good day and have chuff all money. Don't see no Liverpools, Arsenals, Tottenhams, Chelseas or Manyoos, there to put a dampener on things, or even an Everton or a Newcastle. The last team they had that was genuinely top drawer was 40 years ago, and all they've got left now is empty braying about their 'istree. Must be affiliated to the Scousers! Whatever, flat track bullys, the Dutch equivalent of Celtic and Rangers, plying their trade in a division where everyone else has half the financial clout and barely the ghost of a chance of winning anything, yet mouthing off like they're the big "I am". So you beat us in a one off game, where we played like absolute camels. Congratulations. Halifax Town beat us once and all. Jog on sunshine and don't come back
