Ajax Fans Tonight

Set of smug cunts - fucking up there with everton, spurs and Chelsea, not on ushitheads level but no far behind. Was fucking fuming at the end, if the 4 Ajax fans behind me hadn't been kicked out in the first half then I'd have taken it out on them :)

in the 2nd half a few stewards gathered at the front of them arguing, anyone know what it was about?
Edam and clogs

It's been a long time coming, but I knew SWP's Back would make me laugh heartily one day! ;-)

Odd that was my first serious post in 3 years.

They got a major shitty on just before the players came out when i Feyanord flag was shown to them. That City fan was then escorted out

was that just to the left of them, behind the goal about 10 rows from the pitch, a bloke in a multicoloured top got escorted out just before kick off, wondered what it was for
saw him at the end so dont think he was proper;y kicked out

Worked in the City Centre since '98 and travelled through Manchester from school on European match nights 15 years before that. So I've seen most teams and their fans in the City Centre.

Without doubt, Ajax were the moodiest, self absorbed, arrogant bunch I've ever seen. A million miles away from the likes of Bilbao last year, who embraced what a special place Manchester is.

Leave 'em to it. Perhaps one day the penny will drop?

As someone said on another thread, if this game was played in the 80's there'd be about 180 of them coming over wanting to be best mates etc.

In the meantime, let them spend their afternoons hoovering up discount seconds in Sports Direct, before intimidating people on the streets of Manchester.

Not the best European away support we've seen, but decent enough and not sure why anyone was offended by them? I sit right by the away fans and didn't think they did anything untoward.

Surprised they didn't bring the full allocation.
When I saw they hadn't travelled in big numbers I couldn't take them seriously
me too. that was a rubbish turnout for a Champions League game.

Not as good as Dortmund but still noisy throughout the game. Can understand the low numbers in a way, cost, just after the weekend and not exactly a great area of outstanding pubs to have a good time.<br /><br />-- Tue Nov 06, 2012 7:02 pm --<br /><br />
