Ajax Fans Tonight

Bunch of arrogant arseholes. Glad they're fucking up in the Eredivisie. Just wish we'd dicked them tonight. There's a reason they're disliked by everyone they come across

The ones I met and spoke to in sinclairs this afternoon were sound.
They were decent vocally throughout the game aswell.
The only knob heads I saw today was a bunch of bury fans in sinclairs kicking off with a couple of Ajax supporters

Are people just pissed off because there's no "faggot in the pink" or "a fat guy with a pie in his pocket" to sing too?

Piss poor atmosphere once again tonight from us.
The only songs that got going properly were the odd chants about united!
Fuck united! Tonight was a huge game and we needed a 12th man!

They got a major shitty on just before the players came out when i Feyanord flag was shown to them. That City fan was then escorted out

was that just to the left of them, behind the goal about 10 rows from the pitch, a bloke in a multicoloured top got escorted out just before kick off, wondered what it was for

As I was entering the ground he was squealing like a pig to the copper just inside the turnstiles - what a pillock if he thinks unfurling a Feyenoord flag is gonna get the dibble to look the other way.

Couldn't make it to the game as I'm working in Cardiff at the mo, so shouldn't really be commenting on the city fans, but have to say it is the first time I've been shocked by our support. I think we come in for some unfair criticism, but last night was such a vital game and it was woeful to see the Etihad not at capacity. And we should have been in voice from the whistle but all I could hear were the Ajax fans.

Not sure why many fans on here are having a dig at Ajax, they looked and sounded great to me.

Out of interest how much were tickets? I really think City are starting to price out a lot of fans. I was down in London at the weekend and although I realise they don't set the prices for away games, I just couldn't afford to spend £50 to go see us at West Ham. Usually love going to West Ham away but can't justify that before Xmas.

Personally I think we need to review our ticketing policy as far too many times we don't sell out now in cup games. Inevitable in the carling cup (or whatever it is called now) but champions league and later rounds of the FA cup are inexcusable and can only be down to the pricing of tickets?
And I know they’ve come in for a lot of stick but thank God we now have fans groups like BA and Citizens trying to change the atmosphere at the Etihad!

Didn't go to the game because was working till 7, our fans didn't seem up for it but there 2 goals would not have helped

It's the same every game, too many cant be arsed for some reason

Along with the ironically named Singing Section, I have it on good authority that the club are set to refer to the Family Stand as the Fighting Section and the Corporate Hospitality areas as Working Mens Clubs.

Strange that back when we were shit & the club was on its arse, our support was fantastic. Now we are champions & the club is on course to be one of the best in the world, the support is shit.

If you took the noise from fans who watched & cheered when we beat Wigan in the playoffs & put those same fans, making the same noise into the Etihad, it wouldn't matter if Ajax fans had a drum, because nobody would hear it.

I don't know why its happened but now we have singing sections which are often arms folded sections.

It's not just us to be fair, the whole atmosphere in the Premier League is shit. The longer teams survive, the shittier their atmosphere gets. It happened to Portsmouth eventually & it's gradually happening to Stoke.

Sooner or later, they'll be as shit as we are now & we will be as shit as the rags.

All the fans who travel from anywhere in Europe are better than the fans from England. It used to be the other way around.
