if we do not qualify this season and then then do not get to knock out stage for a third year in a row next season would you come on here saying such things. i do agree with you to a certain extent and would have backed your sentiment all the way last season, but there has to be a point where a change will be needed. im pretty sure champions league knock out stages will be a def target for this campaign. its not just about glory its also about reasonable expectation and what id best for the club.

if we didn t qaulify for the chumps league for the next 3 yrs i couldn t give a shite! mancini and my man city have given me joy beyond anything over the last 2 years. maybe i would be described at school as a low achiever nowadays but at wembley 2 years ago me and our kid cried like babies. i'm pretty happy with that and then the year after

i enjoy football, i enjoy the away day meeting up with the lads. the whole experience. winning isn t the be all and end all. maybe i follow city because yoonited fans sound like you lot...expecting to win...success at all costs.

i'm happy...leave me alone

I always had visions of us winning the Charity Shield again one day. ;)

shit, see i got that used to success i forgot about a trophy !!!!! i'm proving my own point....haha!

but surely you can see that eventually sentimentality has to be pushed aside. im not saying he should be booted im just suprised that people can't see that with all the investment expectation should be very high and mancini should be held acountable just like all managers. actually winning something is tough, the premier league, fa cup, champions league, but to exit so early on, with the resources we have has to be looked at very carefully (and will be).

Basically there's a casm in stature and quality between us and the teams we're trying to beat and there's nothing we can do to change that right now.

The likes of Milner, Lescott, Barry, Dzeko, Kolarov and Rodwell are not the type of players required to compete in the Champions League. I think Dzeko is the only player I've listed that could get in to Bayern Munich's team or Real Madrid's team. They're Premier League quality for sure but they cannot take us to the next level - they're the Bellamy, Given and Onuohas of this current set of players. We might love them dearly but we need another upgrade before we can have a good season in Europe.

Calm down on your posts....Kolarov has probably been our best Champion's League Player.
Strangely & unexpectadly... yeah !!

Kolarov was best in CL last season as well, Lescott was better then Company this season when ever he played, Dzeko had one CL experience with Wolfsburg, that before City, and he was extremely good with 4 goals and 3 assists in 6 games (2 of which he scored against Man Utd - 1 in Wolfsburg, 1 in Manchester).
Making opinion on players based on whether you like them or not instead on actual performance make your argument absurd.
Comparing Edin, Kolarov and Lescott to Bellamy, Onuohas, is simply ridicules !

Not to mention that you completely missed the fact that it was defence that was terrible in game tonight and vs. Dortmund in game before, and midfield that failed to create anything...

Was a second successive CL group stage exit considered in our Financial Fair Play forecast I wonder. There is so much money to be made in this tournament and we are not taking advantage of that at all. Tonight we earned €0 in bonuses while a win would have netted us €800,000 and a draw €400,000.

So you guys really think that it's not Mancini's problem?

He sure did win us premier league title, but if city wanna make accomplishment in CL he needs to go.

How many years you guys gonna give to Mancini to learn how to play CL before you guys lose patience and yell for firing him?

I appreciate your concern for "us" but the "you" gave it away.

Pass me the gas mask, it stinks in here tonight.

Fergie out!

my point is just that if something doesnt work, ambitious organisations make difficult / risky changes. im not sure how i feel yet about mancini this season, would have been with you all the way last season but am worried the same could happen next year and i will look back and wished the club were more decisive. if we exit the champions league but end up winning the premier league then it will be a tough call. how would you feel about him going if we pick up nothing this year? it all very well saying he has brought us glory and amazing memories, but the fact is at the moment, anything less than at least competing at the very highest level is unacceptable.

Gutted about the result because i wanted to get out the group but its not looking good. We need to defend way better in champions league but times are changing and good times for mcfc. Rags mates saying we will never win it but i told them 3 years ago we wasn't good anough for the top 4 and now we are champions

Mancini is a winner and given time i think he will deliver that cup one day. We still have the premier and Fa cup to try win. You have to finish your chances in champions league and we didn't. Group of death next year and probably barca

Anyway we was 8 points behind united after the arsenal game we all thought it was over!! We will fight on
