Alcohol-Free Beer

Tried 4 bottles of it about 15 years ago . Can't remember name next day woke up with a headache worse than any hangover I've had from drinking massive amounts of alcohol. None of the other hangover symptoms just the headache. My mate told me it was probably due to the chemicals they use to remove the alcohol, no idea if this is true or not.

Shocking drink, absolutely the worst beer you'll ever drink. Worse than warm squash or cold builders tea.

Do they make normal beer then remove the alcohol or is it basically beef flavoured pop?

Also why do they only seem to do lager? I haven't seen an alcohol free ale.
